Great funky music and nice art! I'm not sure if the click on a person going through to the person behind is an intended mechanic or bug but it worked for me in the sense that you're just trying to capture the lizard people on their own! Fun twist on the theme
Not too shabby. It would be nice if there was looping music at the title screen and you got an unlimited amount of time to rack up the highest possible score, though.
Really enjoyed this idea, and the fact there's a global leaderboard is awesome!
I found there was an issue when the people would overlap each other and it would register the wrong hitbox and lose a life because of it, also some runs wouldn't have a person or lizard for a noticeable amount of time at the start.
Had so much fun playing and trying to get the high score but sadly couldn't get the top spot!
Really fun and silly game, love the idea. The intro is amazing! I love the mix and match characters, the tattoos and flower crown are my favs :)) I also love the lizard that looks like you've walked in on it in the shower, so funny ðŸ˜
I thought it was really clever that you can only click the reptilians when their eyes are showing since otherwise you don't have photo evidence. Sound design really helps that too.
My only issue was the hitboxes, you click 'all the way through' if that makes sense so sometimes I lost a life trying to click on a foreground reptilian because there was a human behind. It would also be nice if the humans you do accidentally click on disappear so you can at least click behind them.
Having a leaderboard is great and since you only had the weekend I'm very impressed you could add one in such a limited time!
Overall it's great - had a lot of fun with this one :) I hope you enjoyed your first game jam!!
