Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the sound!

It was great if you didn't have experience it doesn't come across that way and within the time frame, it's really impressive work!

Regarding the space bar that'll just be something minor like the difference between "on press" or "on release" or a timing thing or something similar, not a big deal at all just something to note; it's not a tutorial issue, per se,  just like a tiny tiny bug as if you try repeatedly tapping the space bar, instead of holding it, there's like a delay/cooldown on when you fire.

Hope that makes sense!

This is incredible, loved the gameplay and humour! The levels are tricky without being too difficult, and the extra stars give a nice bonus to completion!

I would like it if there was a way to like reset the levels faster, sometimes it felt as if the rock was flying off-screen for ages, and then there was a little bit of dialogue before your next shot -- sometimes I'd forget the angle of my last shot and make the same one again because I'd spent some time waiting.

That being said, I loved the dialogue and the nods to the well-known characters!

Really enjoyed this idea, and the fact there's a global leaderboard is awesome!

I found there was an issue when the people would overlap each other and it would register the wrong hitbox and lose a life because of it, also some runs wouldn't have a person or lizard for a noticeable amount of time at the start.

Had so much fun playing and trying to get the high score but sadly couldn't get the top spot!

Incredible idea, I audibly gasped when jumping to a new planet for the first time! Really appreciate the thumbnail art as well.

I also found I was hitting R a lot when missing rather than waiting for the ball to settle, so might be worth considering having it stop sooner after making your shot.

Would be really looking forward to seeing a more developed version!

Loved this game, especially the upgrades system giving it a roguelike feel!

Just a couple of issues I ran into:

  • I didn't realise you had to hold down space so I was pressing it and firing slowly.
  • The projectiles coming straight down and firing straight up means you end up just skirting them and firing back while safe rather than weaving around. Might be worth considering having projectiles move in different patterns in the future, like in a wave or something?

One of my favourite games of the jam though, really great experience and the polish, art, and everything was fantastic!

This is my pick of the jam! Loved the music and the overall aesthetic!

Felt like the first two tracks had more feedback and were more intuitive to get into the rhythm of but enjoyed the otherworldly nature of the last two.

Definitely put up a thumbnail though, the visuals are stunning and it's criminal that people may pass over it because of the lack of an image!

Thanks, your feedback is greatly appreciated as well! Glad to hear you enjoyed the music!

Great game, absolutely loved the narrative and presentation!

Really enjoyed this one, especially how the story was presented and the fact that there was a variety to the music! One of the pieces sounded very out of place though, too upbeat for a horror title in my opinion and took away from the atmosphere when it popped up.

Obviously very similar to Reigns, but trying to balance all the different elements really made it feel like you were being pushed into a corner by the various characters so that worked really well for a horror title. Would love to see more things like the radio cards -- weird things like glitched/blank cards, excerpts from the book, etc popping up.

With a bit more content, and a shift in the art style to make it more distinct from Reigns, you could have something really special here as I probably played this most out of all the entries! You could genuinely have a title worthy of a full release on your hands!

Loved this one, absolutely nailed the Lovecraftian vibes!

Can really see the stuff with the room placements and decisions about whether or not to fulfil the guests' requests becoming important decisions in a more developed version.

Having the time progress was so good for the presentation and framing of everything, and when it all "kicked off" the art was fantastic; it was dripping with atmosphere!

This is my pick of the jam!

Loved not knowing what was in each room until you had to choose the correct sense to uncover what was happening in each location and space; it made it a really tense experience. The music change in the basement sent shivers down my spine.

I almost skipped it though because there wasn't a thumbnail image, so definitely upload a screenshot or something to catch people's attention; some might mistake it for one of those scam/fake games when it's one of the most creative entries on the list.

Thanks! I did the music so am very happy to see your comment!

We were also planning on having the art on the buildings and cards become more distressed/worn down but sadly ran out of time to implement it.

Great short horror game with an interesting narrative!
