Cute and *proper* retro (but smoother than it would have been in the native resolution). Nice job!

Cool gameplay.  without a penalty for picking up pumpkins that are not ready though it seems the strategy is just to go back and forth and spamming the E key!

ya i should have done that and made it for fun

This game is simple, but there really is something to it. The little pumpkins are very charming in an old atari kind of way.

I think it may improve the gameplay to have some kind of penalty for picking a pumpkin that isn't ready -- I got my best scores by spamming the e key and running back and forth. I'm also not sure why the character can jump, it seems like something you'd never want to do on purpose.

Overall, a good effort though!

I liked the Gameplay and the cute graphics but adding maybe a retro-style SFX or music would've made the game become less repetitive over time

To be fair that did hit a lot of marks, I could see a better engineered version (in another context) be a mini game - maybe lock picking.

Still even going for a retro vibe you missed one thing that even a simple bleep would have added a lot to the players experience.

I liked the concept, maybe it would be a little more challenging if I had a penalty when I picked pumpkins that weren't fully grown.
