please make a 1-player-mode!!! it would be great to select between easy, medium and hard. the effects are great. my eyes glow happy as I saw the start-screen. make please for another halloween jam a version where we can play vs. computer! Nice work!
Hi everyone. Thanks for the great feedback on my game! Just to let you know, I've uploaded a post-jam version with music and lots of other improvements.
The version that shows on the game page should still be the jam version, but you can now choose between the two versions if you want to download/install the game. Please ensure that you ONLY RATE BASED ON THE JAM VERSION. Hope that makes sense. CHEERS! ** UPDATE: It looks like voting has pretty much finished, so the version on the game page is now the updated version.good game for two player:>

Very nice looking graphics and effects! I like that you can fall into the cauldrons!
This is a very impressive and polished game.
It's a neat mechanic that having the life energy was a requirement to score. Overall, I think it would have been nice if each pumpkin had a clear visual color marking (like each wearing a colored headband), more than the particle effect. For consistency, the particle effect on the red pumpkin should probably have been red.
Sometimes the goal keeper would whack the pumpkin way up high bouncing a lot before coming back into game view. I'm not sure it's 'wrong' but it does eat up some game time. On other occasions, the ball got stuck behind the goal keeper which depending on who's goal keeper and if you had the life force or not, might leave your fate up to the other goal keeper.
Using the down button to accelerate your pumpkin feels very satisfying.
Really like the concept and the art assets.
Thank you very much indeed! I think all your suggestions are excellent and I've even gone as far as to implement most of them already. The version on the game page should still be the jam version, but you can now download a 'post-jam' version, too. I couldn't wait to get the new version out there!
I really like your game, too, btw. Happy Halloween!!
Another multiplayer game!! Nice!
Very nice and relaxing game, sadly I don't have someone else to play it with but even playing with myself was pretty fun. One thing I would suggest would be to add a background track to the gameplay to improve the experience. But overall solid submission :)
Thanks very much! I must confess - I've not played it against anyone else yet, either! I will do tomorrow when I show it to my girlfriend. It did occur to me, too late, that music would have been good. I'll add some at some point. Thanks again
This is a pretty fun game for two players, gives me flashbacks to sharing a keyboard and playing Slime Volleyball on my school's computer. The real star of the show here, though, are the graphics. This game looks super slick!
Thanks for trying it and I'm glad you had fun! To be fair, the graphics are mostly from Unity assets, so that probably ought to affect your score on that part of the voting
Good Idea, Very fun, very well implemented mechanics.
but its sad when you launch yourself off of your own broom and land in the enemy's cauldron it doesn't score a point. (plus the broom launches you into the stratosphere)
Hmm, it should score a point, as long as you've got the glowing thingy, of course. I'll test that later. I did run out of time on this, tbh - I only really got started on it a few hours before the deadline - so I'll definitely try to address a few issues. Thanks for trying it!
Very nice graphics, sound and mechanics. Difficult to score though...
Thanks!
Really creative I think this could be developed further.
Thanks! I'll certainly go back and fix a few bits as I really ran out of time on this one
Cool concept!
Thanks!
