Message from the artist:
Thanks so much for this cool opportunity, looking forward to hearing the other submissions!

Theme:

Runaway

How does it fit the theme?
The first time you cross into a forest, no matter how many times you've been there, it still is magical and scary.

The dissonance in Dense Thicket really helps sell the scary/eeriness of a forest. I’m not really sure how it fits the theme though based on your descriptions, but overall great job!

I think your OST fits the picture theme more than the word theme, but great work nonetheless!

Friendly Face - This one is quite relaxing. I like the strings.

Dense Thicket - This is a very unsettling piece to me. I get the feeling that I don't get much to hold on to as a listener. It's like it's shifting at all times. This makes me feel quite uneasy, but in a good way.

My favourite is Dense Thicket. Good job on making something very unsettling and unique.

Thank you so much, I try to walk that line a lot I'm so glad it worked!

Thats an interesting arpegios on some weird chords right there, I don't know how to feel listening to this, its kinda mysterious and major at the same time, really different. Good job on doing something unique. For me its missing some bass, like a cello and doublebass somewhere just for a moment would've been great, its really all the time in the high-mid range.

Thank you! I know I was listening back to it, and yeah It does need some low end!

Beautiful strings here: I love how this track hovers between major and minor... I can't quite tell which it is at times. It gives it a nostalgic, melancholy, serene mood. Really cool stuff here!

Ah thanks so much! I tired my best to dance the line between major and minor to make and still make it sound enjoyable but it being "off!"

I love the atmosphere in these tracks, there's a wonderful sense of momentum and evolution as they progress.

I really like how you used the same palette of sounds to make two very different sounding pieces.
