Thanks for the feedback! I’ll consider the attack patterns when I make the post-jam version!

Haha thanks for playing! Yeah I wanted to confuse players to get them, uh, surprised or caught off guard.

This is my first bullet hell so thanks for the feedback about it being chaotic haha, but I’m glad you enjoyed!

Thanks! And thanks for the feedback abt the teleporter!

Thank you!

Ah alright, looking forward to the updated post-jam version!

Oh thanks for the feedback on the audio! I'll keep that in mind when I make other games or update this one. But thanks for playing my game!

Oh and this is unrelated but now I know why your username looks quite familiar, you're also in one jam I joined last year, the "Themed Horror Game Jam 6". Nice seeing you again! I'm gonna try your game if I have time

4 days!? That's amazing! I'm glad you and your brother got to enjoy!

Thanks! I'm glad you really enjoyed the game and even soundtrack! There's no other weapons and ammo tho. And as for the pseudo-3D environment, I actually just used 3D with a blend of 2D stuff haha.

I really liked the art in this! It really does have a gameboy-feel and it's really cute!

Although it could have had some music and SFX (unless there is and I messed up my computer somehow).

And this is a unique take on the theme too!

Nice short and sweet game! You're take on the theme might be the most unique (as of me playing) so far in this jam!

Admittedly it was quite challenging level 2 onwards, but it's a game so challenge is part of it!

The art and graphics are really nice and well done! It's cute and minimalist!

I hope you had fun in this jam and that you'll keep improving!

Simple, yet fun!

The art is the highlight for me, it's really good! Although maybe there should be a better indication of what the "good stuff" to bump into were.

I hope you had fun in this jam!

Wow! I like how you interpreted the theme differently instead of outer space!

And the gameplay is simple, and I like the fact that you can only move on the wires of the computer chip.

The soundtrack is nice, but quite repetitive.

Overall I like the game and it does have a gameboy-feel to it. Good Job!

Nice, very Gameboy-like indeed!

The graphics, features, enemy AI and amount of things you added in this is very impressive! Especially in just 10 days!

Although the enemy AI takes quite slow to do it's move, unless that's how it worked in the game you were inspired by as seen in some comments but idk I actually never owned a game boy lol (pls no bully)

Overall, it's a very impressive submission!

This is really nice! All of you who worked on this did a great job!

The graphics are simple and minimalist, and the main character kinda looks like Batman haha. But I liked the art and it does feel gameboy-like.

The gameplay is actually nice, I liked having to think of how to use the push and pull feature.

I like the different music for each level, and the music themselves are cute and appropriate for each level!

Overall, great job and I hope you all had fun in this jam!

The best part for me is the art which is cute and minimalist!

For the gameplay, I guess it should have an indicator/show something when you reload as at times I didn't know if I reloaded or not.

There is a lack of music and SFX.

But considering this is your second game, I hope you will continue improving as this is a good starting point, good luck and I hope you had fun in this game jam!

First off, the graphics and art are nice and pleasing to the eye. And the music was nice too, although repetitive.

But in terms of gameplay, it is challenging, but games should be challenging anyway so I'm okay with that. But some collisions did not work in some levels; you can sometimes go through blocks or even the level boundary.

But other than that, it is a nice game!

Oh man as soon as I saw your development processes in the discord server, this was one of the games I was really waiting for. It took a while to get used to but I got the hang of the controls.
The graphics, gameplay and art are amazing! You guys did so well!

One criticism tho is that maybe there should be health bars for bosses? I made it to the caterpillar worm boss thing, but I'm not sure if I keep dying or advancing cus I keep encountering that. If I remember correctly, there was one boss that you guys showed in discord that had the spear of longinus-like thing? But yeah I was confused of when that boss was going to die.

But overall, I loved the fast paced experience!

Wow that was really nice! All of you did a great job! This is so far one story-centric game I played in this jam, and it had humor and stakes!

Overall I liked it! Very nice art and computer-like UI!

The art is so nice, definitely my favorite aspect of the game!

I like how you interpreted the theme, not only is it outer space, but also to do with cleaning spaces!

Good job on the game! All of you did good! But I understand that there was a lack of time as there is a lack of SFX and animations, but there is music which sounds nice!

Nice game! The gameplay is simple, so it's good for an arcade style game, and good job for making lore in the description!

And I won't complain about the lack of SFX, because there is no sound in space.

RICK

In all seriousness, I really enjoyed this game! Although sometimes the boss fight was kind of strange, maybe there should have been an indicator or sprite that shows that it was getting damaged as I didn't know what I was doing, but hey, it's still good!

What a fun little game! And great job on your first jam project all by yourself! I hope you enjoyed the process (even if it can be hectic).

Because of the game elements going out of the screen, the aspect ratio does not become like 160x144, but it's still ok since there is simple yet fun gameplay. Music and SFX were alright, and I really like the pixel art, it's cute.

Overall I liked it! I hoped you enjoyed the jam!

Thank you! Good thing I made a minimap (although buggy).

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I knew about the not-being able-to-shoot-enemies-right-away part, but I didn't have time to put in extra code for that. If I have time and if I want to, maybe I should make a post-jam version next time, but idk. And thanks for liking the cover art!

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks! Most of my games so far are story based so I just did what I was used to, but next time I hope to make a game where it's more gameplay and fun, but I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks so much! I was worried how the first person parts would turn out cus it was confusing for some when playtesting but I'm glad you enjoyed

Thanks!

Thanks for your kind words! Haha most of these were just experimenting and playing with a bunch of instruments, amps and other things in Garageband, although I hope to improve, as, to me at least, a lot of stuff needs work if I want to try to do something similar in future.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm gonna try and consider that if I do something similar in future...plus a(n imitation) chainsaw hehe

This is nice! I used to listen to (but still like) some blues music (or close to it), and this is really nice and very different from the original!

Bravo! If Sonic followed in Shadow's footsteps and brought a gun to pop an egg haha.

...And Robotnik brought a bigger gun...

Woah, I've never played Life is Strange, nor have listened to their soundtracks, but I quickly listened to what u covered (the original) and your remix gave me chills, idk it might be the instruments u used that invoked some random feeling of nostalgia, along with the singing. Great job!

I love this! I quickly listened to the original and you made it sound much more funky and fun! I like the lil crunch sound too haha.

Thanks for the feedback!

Nice cover, I quickly listened to the original and yeah, this is leaning more to the style of those older video game music (so I don't think lo-fi is the right term, but idk), great job, especially for just making it by ear!

Do me a favor... and win.

As soon as I saw that you wanted to make a SilvaGunner type thing, I knew it was gonna be good!

Pros:

  • Those voicebanks are cool, I thought you actually had someone sing about meeting the Flintstones haha.
  • It's really fun to find the references you put in each track.
  • Flint and stones.

Cons:

  • Nothing, but I think you dropped this 👉👑
  • Edit: Oh maybe in Muddy Messy Marsh, the Soulja boy parts didn't really fit properly (for me), but I guess it could pass since it's called Muddy Messy Marsh.

I can tell that you really put in all your best into this, my respects all the way, Keep up the good work!

Just reading the premise of your cover/mashup already made me want to listen, and you sure didn't disappoint, Great Job!
