Description
8-bit style of soundtrack, the game I imagined was a 8-bit adventure type game with a deep story. I composed the tracks using Musescore and mixed them in Bitwig.
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
The theme I felt sort of hidden especially in the picture was that it was a mother and child fleeing a broken household in search for something better, so my pieces have a sort of bittersweet feeling, but also some fear that what they went through isn't over.

Good stuff! Wish there was a touch more variation in the intro, but loved the vibes.
I liked the sound of the tracks - they were well put together overall but feel the title track particularly would have probably benefited from a bit more variation and less repetition (unless looping was the intention?). In contrast, there is an unexpected burst of energy midway through "Runaway Overworld Theme" that I felt was a power-punch that made it shine.
Runaway title theme - Pretty chill tune. I like it. I appreciate the drum fills. They add some nice variety to the track. My favourite of the three.
Overworld Theme - It does sound like an overworld theme. I can just imagine the character walking across the map on this.
