Description
For this project, I imagined a game where a character wakes up in a dream world, only to find they must escape what lurks in the dark.
The genre is a synth based game soundtrack, with influences from Celeste, Gravity Falls, and others.
I used a variety of instruments from Spitfire Audio, Logic Pro's Library, Teletone's Scarbo synths, and the Brainworx Oberhausen Synth included in the Plugin Alliance bundle. The DAW used was Logic Pro.
Message from the artist:
Hope you enjoy! Please give me any feedback you think of after you listen!
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
The music is written to accompany a character discovering their dream isn't what they think, and they must run to escape their nightmares.

Great dreamy quality througout the OST, all the tracks playing along nicely with one another.
Really kind, nice melodies. It has the pixel art "sound" feel if you know what I mean. :D good job!
This is fantastic music! I love the composition and the way the harmonies are built. The music box-esque sound is wonderful. I also very much loved the Celeste-esque lead sound in Who's There and The End of the Road.
Nailed it, I read the description last and at first I said this sounds a bit like Celeste and a platforming game and you are right on track, super cool album, it was a really easy listen, nothing to say, well mixed, nice arrangement, good quality fits the theme perfectly , nice job !
Really nice soundtrack! It has a very cohesive and interesting style throughout. My favorite is "Who's There?" I love how spooky it feels, especially at the beginning. Great job!
Lovely pieces! I really liked the dreamy quality of Drifting to Sleep. All the pieces reflect the theme nicely. Well done!
This is so cute! Oh, and beautiful! And even spooky... :)
Welcome To Dreamland is totally my style. I think I made an exclamation out loud when it started up, and got shivers too at one point.
"Who's There?" and "The End of the Road" totally reminded me of the Celeste Soundtrack by Lena Raine. Especially the song Scattered and Lost. The spooky synth and arpeggios are a great combo. Plus the drive from those lovely percussive textures.
This is far and away my favorite soundtrack you've made so far. More please!
Oh wow! This means so much! Your soundtrack Digital Lovers was my favorite from OST #3, and it inspired me to keep getting better at this!
Wow full circle :)
You definitely are getting better!
Totally was digging this idea. My favorite was a tie between Who's There? and End of the Road. I very much enjoyed the dreamscape aspect, but I also felt a very dark presence which I was enjoying. Great job!
Thanks!!
Loved the good feels right from the start in Drifting to Sleep! Love the consistent music box use through the OST, an instrument that always says forest to me.
Thanks! As soon as I thought of the idea of like a dream forest, I knew I had to incorporate the music box!
Really cool! I love the dream theme. And i really liked "welcome to dreamland" and "end of the road"!
Thanks!!
Love the melody in 'the end of the road'
Thanks!!
Great soundtrack!! Very dreamy, l love the eerie opening of The End of the Road especially!
Thanks!!
Really dug the sounds in these tracks, with special love for 'Welcome to Dreamland' (with the smaller beat at the start that builds to a kicking rhythm towards the end) and 'Who's There?' (with the cool arpeggios and again awesome drum beat). One of my faves so far!
Thanks!!
Big thumbs up to "The End Of The Road"!
Thanks!!!
Absolutely Amazing! I can't even express how I feel but I'm literally yelling at my monitor saying "YES!" These compositions are able to use a dreamy sound with the sound of synths and bells, and it rocks! If I were to nit pick one thing, it's that Welcome To Dreamland Surprised me a bit with the faster rhythm. Other than that, This is awesome! My favorite tracks have to be Who's There and The End of the Road. Overall, amazing!
Thanks!!! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great work! Very memorable theme throughout. I love how you made the story progress throughout these tracks.
thanks!!
I really like the progression going on as the first song is light and peaceful sounding and as you go down with curiosity it's an adventure till you get to the final two tracks where this dream gets darker! I really enjoyed "Who's There" and "The End of The Road". End of The Road gives me a bit of Celeste vibes as well. Good stuff!
thanks!
"Who's There" is definitely my favourite on this soundtrack. It has a great sense of eerie urgency.
Thanks!
Very solid overall, big fan of "Who's There?"
Thanks!
I like the style and I really loved "Who's There"!
Thanks!!
