Description
I didn't feel that inspired with this theme but still managed to come up with something, hope you like it

I used MuseScore 3 to make all the tracks and had fun making them.

The tracks tell a simple story, you're lost wandering a forest and the deeper in you go the more danger you find yourself in, eventually you encounter something, you run away, and you're free.

Theme:

Runaway
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
I thought the strings do a good job setting an atmosphere similar to the one depicted in the picture theme.
The first two tracks have a build up of tension for the third track which is supposed to give a feeling of running away.

The intended track order is in danger, in the wrong place, escaping, and wandering free. But it doesn't really matter.

These tracks could use some polish but have a lot of potential.  Each one has a distinct feel. Thanks for sharing!

I'll give my honest opinions, in danger sounded quite weird to me but I can't really explain why, maybe the strings needed a bit more reverb or something, well my issue is just the first half of the track. It starts to pick up a few seconds in.

The 2nd one, in the wrong place, it got better. The track really became good to me when the high strings played and other sounds came in as well.

escaping was really nice, as well as wandering free. And I like how you kept the same type of "feel" in each soundtrack, they all felt that they belong with each other, instead of separate tracks compiled into one.

But overall it's a good listen, since you titled it "Running Strings", it's appropriate that you used strings for all the tracks. I agree with The Gates of Truth, very eerie and "horror" sounding, great job!

Love strings in general, and love how they're used for different parts: melody harmony bass. Nice combination of more filled moments vs airy ones, and the transitions!

Hi, thanks for this submission!

All track has a very dark and horrific vibe, and at the same time very nostalgic. I feel like it's some JRPG soundtrack with high intensity and high stakes.

Favorite of all 4 : Wandering free, great atmosphere!

Really liked the retro sound of these pieces - reminded me of 16-bit games I loved. Nice work!

Sounds like the old strings in N64 games likes ocarina of time. My critic would be every song sounds about the same, its pretty hard to differentiate a part for some instruments but in terms of chords and mood, its good for the album correlation but I think the dynamics could've change.

I love the way your tracks sounds like old french films, with Belmondo playing in it

Congrats !
