Description
When I saw the theme for the jam, I thought I would create something akin to an exploratory album. The player is slowly soaring through the memory bubbles, going deeper. The first track is calming, like a slow intro with bubbles lighting up, and then it transitions to the second track, where the memory bubbles have lit up. The third track is the player going a bit deeper, finding some memories that weren't so great and better to be left behind, but not too bad, since there were still some nice memories.

As for the main ambient style inspiration, I was inspired by Mike Oldfield's album "Songs of Distant Earth." It had that relaxing and chilling atmosphere, and the way the tracks transitioned felt like the story of a traveler.

I use FL Studio to compose.

Message from the artist
Tracks 1 and 2 were split, so it has a nice transition. If you want, I can put them together as a single track.

Deep, detailed, crisp, clear, cool, wibbly-wobbly (I love that breathing in Come and Remember Them )

Thank you!

Love these tracks, they fit the theme really well! The textures of the tracks are so rich, without being overwhelming - there's space to breathe and relax into them. The tracks themselves work really well as a whole, they allow you this feeling of sinking deeper into the world. Love the voices in the last track too - excellent work!

I love the vibe of this submission. The sound choices were top notch--the arp in "Come and Remember Them" hit different. Great job!

Of the many ambient tracks I have heard so far these were my favorite. I really liked the bass in going a bit deeper and the voices were really neat too!

This is tight. Really dig the differences in direction when it comes to each part of the Memory Bubble track. The first feels more akin to a PSX sounding theme, but the second feels like it is fresh out of a Dreamcast or Gamecube game. Fantastic synth work in both and the layering of instruments in part 2 in particular is great.

Going a Bit Deeper is an interesting departure from the other entries. Panning the bass synth was a great way to add some additional movement, and the vocal samples were unexpected but wholly welcome. Great work on all counts, you've nailed the theme and have a very definitive sound.
