Description
The Concept is that you wake in a place called the Dreamscape, or your told its the dream scape by someone who claim to be a guide for "Dream Jumpers" you believe them and they guide you through dreams, until you find out your not dreaming and everything happening is real, and you need to survive and escape with your life, the beginning tracks start all calm and somber later tracks become more intense

Message from the artist
Honestly I've been really busy doing other things that It Interfered with concept of the Ost by a lot, having different ideas and thoughts, that changed the concept of the "game" and at this point I'm under a lot of stress about it so I made tracks that would best suit what i was thinking as best I could, if you like them thank you if not no hard feelings)

Basically I Had No Direction

Theme

Inside my world
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
I Used The Picture Theme As Inspiration Of the Blue Bubbles Track, and the concept of traveling into different dreams/worlds is the for "inside my world" Each "Dream" is a world of its own

Nothing beats a dreamy soundtrack like a lot of reverb, the different directions you took for each of the songs are great and I like how the synths play out in "Abyssal" specifically, the vibes you bring here are super solid and ou have one of the best cover art I've seen in the entries, great job

Submitted

After the Arrival...my favorite one...really nice vibes!

You have used a very diverse number of sounds and all of them are very well crafted and they combine excellently with each other. Super solid!!

AMAZING SOUNDTRACK!!

Submitted

The variety is insane. I had some troubles with some of the tracks reverb wise, but I'm sensitive to it so don't pay me much attention. Overall it was really cool to listen through the OST, everything being so unique made it super enjoyable!

Okay, uh. time for a most interesting contrast between the cover art and the soundtrack itself...

A Nightmare - Weibo, relaxing, and when the drums kick in towards the end, it's awesome.

Abyssal - OOOooooooooooooooooooooo (I love this chorus mixed with cute synthesizer, heh).

After The Arrival - Cool beat! A little play on the “strings” adds to the charm of the song.

Blue Bubbles - Mmm bubbles and echoes? Gorgeous! Only, I think there's too much echo from the chorus.....

Everythings Great! - HEY, everything is really great! Very colorful composition (Chic claps!). Feels like the atmosphere of something retro-happy. I like it)

I Cant Wake Up - Oh no... I want to wake up, but I can't... WHAT TO DO? HELP? (Good track. The breakbeat along with the synthwave creates its own atmosphere)

In Orbit - Space... Rocking Space!

Looong Dream - Heh, another cute track, but with a deep ocean feel.

Straight Forward - I think I've heard this guitar part somewhere... but I can't remember where) Definitely my favorite composition! Everything is great here: catchy melody, good rhythm and CLAPS. I listened to this track three times..... heh :_)

Interesting concept, well suited for the jam theme. Each track is unique, varied and complements each other well. Thanks a lot!

Developer

thank you for listening to my tracks! I wanted each one to be unique but also feel like they belong with each other

Hilarious thumbnail, excellent music. I love how diverse the soundtrack is, each track is notably different from the last and it all still feels really cohesive. Fantastic work!

Developer

yeah the thumbnail is pretty goofy to say the least, I'm not a very good artist so i just did what i knew, bad MS paint imaging, and thank you for listening to the tracks, I wanted them to be pretty different, but feel like they belong with each other!

Submitted

Clicked for the thumbnail, stayed for the quality of the music.
Great experience, would recommend (on a more serious note, I liked the diversity and the instrumentation of the tracks a lot, my favourite would be either A Nightmare or I Cant Wake Up)

Developer(+1)

Hey thanks for listening to the tracks, I wanted to have a diverse pallet, but it still feel like they went together, as for the thumbnail i suck at art so i did what i knew best, bad MS paint images

Submitted

Super cool tracks! They really caught my interest at the start

Developer

hey thanks for listening to it!

Submitted

This was a nice and complete OST! Nothing was too long and they were all distinct which I liked!

Developer

thank you I wanted each track to be different, and instill a certain vibe

Love this ost. It really has some vibe. Great job!

P.s. my favorite track is desktop.ini file inside your zip-archive

Developer(+1)

thanks for listening to it, also I think desktop.ini just makes windows files work I think

I really enjoyed "A Nightmare" and the samples you used!!

Developer

thank you! It’s one of my favorites from the whole ost actually

Submitted

I loved this! You show a broad diversity, yet the tracks are tied together in a way that could very well work as a cohesive sountrack. Well done!!

Developer

hey thanks for listening to it and thank you I tried tying it together the best I could!

Submitted

Developer

Thanks I Put More Effort Into This One!

1.) In Orbit - 4.3 / 5.0

A pretty good first track! Definitely makes you feel like you're in a dream. It starts off pretty calm and then picks up some pace when the drums are introduced.

2.) Blue Bubbles - 4.5 / 5.0

I like the chord progression with this one. Again, heavily gives off the "you're in a dream" feeling.

3.) After The Arrival - 4.5 / 5.0

A great, chill beat! I'm a sucker for LoFi-esque beats and this did not disappoint. I like the little accents in the background, definitely adds to the calm and chill nature.

4.) Everything's Great! - 5.0 / 5.0

Very nice work! I love the transition from no drum to drum, really does sound amazing and feels kinda epic if that makes sense.

5.) Straight Forward - 4.8 / 5.0

Very nice energetic beat. The tracks are picking up pace and sounding much more energetic. Definitely in line with the in-game explanation.

6.) A Nightmare - 4.5 / 5.0

A pretty ominous track! It gives off a sense of confusion as to what's happening. One thing I like about all the tracks is the great drum work, so props to you on that!.

7.) I Can't Wake Up - 5.0 / 5.0

Amazing beat! Funny enough it reminds me of "The Part Where He Kills You" from the Portal 2 OST, which probably just means you did a good job on this one! It gives off the feeling of being chased by something. Overall a very energetic and amazing track.

8.) Loong Dream - 4.5 / 5.0

A nice calming beat. Going back to a somewhat more calm feeling. I like it.

9.) Abyssal - 4.3 / 5.0

A pretty chill track and a nice way to end things off. I was expecting a much more intense and ominous track when I saw the title "Abyssal," but I guess never judge a book by its cover.

Overall a really good OST. You really did a good job in telling a story through just a few tracks and I admire that. Nice work!

That's all I guess, have a good day :D

(And also 11/10 cover art, brought a tear to me eye due to its sheer, undeniable beauty)

Developer

Thanks for the Great feedback, appreciate the kind words, you have a good day too!

Dang how do I get you to rate my tracks this is so in depth and cool!

Submitted

Lol it was imperative that I rate this as soon as I remembered I saw the cover art in the Discord discussion a day or two back.   ...And -also- your output is superb.

Developer

Thanks!
