Yeah, I definitely see room for a more interesting bass part. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for listening!

Thank you!

Appreciate it!

Thanks!

I'll make sure to focus on more dynamic, well, dynamics next time. Thanks for the listen!

Thanks a bunch!

Noted on the dynamics, appreciate the comment!

Thank you for listening!

Thanks!

Thank you!

Appreciate the comment! I've been very unlucky with the timing of these jams, hopefully the next one I have more free time lol

A lovely listen! My favorite track was "Umi and Her Mother", very interesting harmonically.

My main suggestion is more movement. The soundtrack tends to get a little static at times as most of the accompaniment is block chords. You do a good job at arpeggiating the piano part, would've loved to hear more of it.

Great work!

Thank you!

Thanks a lot!

Yep, I do hear that upon re-listening. Mixing could use some work in some places, I was kinda rushing that part because time was almost up. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the comment, if I had more tracks the themes would have 100% been expanded on.

Thanks for the feedback! As I re-listen, I definitely agree about the drums--will fix that up for when I release it officially.

Thank you! Unfortunately, I was on vacation during the jam, so I had to fit composing into a busy schedule. Hopefully next time I can have more time haha.

Thank you for listening!

Did not expect what I did coming into this submission, but it definitely bangs!

The "How does this fit the theme?" reignited a memory I had when I was like six years old playing Cyborg Justice on my dad's Sega Genesis and being completely entranced by the intro cut scene.

I do agree with others about how this would fit into a game. More specifically, each track seems to have the same kind of vibe. Maybe an explanation of each track usage in the game would help in this regard.

The music itself, while a bit long, was very fun to listen to. My favorite was "Knocking Down Heaven's Door With Vengeance". Great work!

This was such a pleasant listen. "KIsami" was just so good! Loved the usage of eastern instruments. And "Kisami's Little Tutorial" was so groovy. Awesome work all around.

One of the most interesting compositions I have rated so far! The string playing was beautiful, was that recorded?

My only critique is that the mix almost sounded in mono except for the strings. It made it tough for my brain to place the instruments in the sound stage.

Thoroughly enjoyed my listen, great work!

Great job on this one! This soundtrack oozes with a surreal vibe. Loved "Roadin'", the voice samples made me think of Jet Set Radio. All around a pleasant listen.

A fun listen! Can definitely hear this being in an NES game. Also, the vine boom thing is hilarious.

I think the soundtrack overall could've benefited from more motion overall. Chiptune really needs it to make up for the lack of voices and depth of simple waveforms.

Nice work!

Fun listen! My favorite track was "Still Bubbles, Rest Well My Child", great and emotional piano writing.

The orchestral pieces get muddy at times due to the bass instruments. The low-end tends to get crowded.

Good work overall!

Create a beautiful underwater image you did!

It's hard for ambient tracks to keep my attention, but this one did in spades. It's simple but very effective. The bell sound seemed to be a little out of time to me.

Great work!

Nice work! I liked your sound choices, made each track interesting to listen to, especially "The Oceans Floor". The low white noise really aids the ocean vibes.

I would've loved to hear more instrumental variety between each track. I think some more pronounced percussion would also make the soundtrack even better.

This soundtrack has a lot of character. It made it very easy to envision your game idea. I think you nailed the marine feeling! "Calming Waters" was my favorite, I was thinking of a trailer for your game in my head while listening to it haha.

One nitpick is I think some of the sounds (like the strings and pads) could have used more attack and release to add to the ambient vibes.

Awesome work!

This is a great soundtrack. Always fun listening to music in this style. I love the FM bass sound, it will never get old. Harmonically interesting the whole way through, and I loved the use of panning as a means of making it dreamier. And doing it on Ultrabox is very impressive, too.

Great work!

Nice submission! There were a lot of harmonic ideas that I enjoyed, like the chord progression in “Inside My Guilt”. The constant trumpet falls in “Inside my World” were a little distracting. My favorite track was “Inside My Innocence”, loved the synth chords. You did a good job making each track have its own identity.

Good work!

Cool tracks! They fit with your game idea well. There was a lot of cool harmonic ideas which I enjoyed. Love the game idea and the cover art as well.

I think the boss battle themes could’ve used a little more energy, maybe some brass and harder percussion could help. And some more instrumentational variety would make the soundtrack even better.

Good work!

This was a very relaxing listen. Loved the sound design on this one, you nailed the under water vibe!

I would’ve liked to see some more variation/development throughout the piece, as it started to get a little stale by the end.

Great work!

Your soundtrack does a great job at matching the feeling of your (very depressing lol) game idea. Each track has its own identity without sounding disparate with the rest of the soundtrack, which I enjoyed.

Good work!

Very cool submission. “Arrival” sounds straight out of an early 3d Zelda game. I also like the utilization of leitmotifs throughout the soundtrack.

Compositionally, it stayed very fresh throughout. I would’ve loved to hear a little more variety in the instrumentation.

Great work!

Absolutely loved the reversed instruments. “welcome to the deep” took me back to playing Super Mario Galaxy for the first time.

Great storytelling in the music. Compositionally was awesome. Just fantastic all around.

Awesome job, definitely one of my favorites so far out of nearly two hundred submissions.
