Description
Ocean Song is a 2D platformer inspired by the likes of Gris, Hylics and Undertale it has an emmersive atsmophere where this girl remembers the moments that she had with her mother that passed away because of an illness, reliving the good and the bad moments. So the first track plays right in the first moments of the game where the girl is experiencing the happy moments she had with her mother, as for the second track it plays in the mother's final moments while she gives her goodbyes.
The soundtrack was made in FL STUDIO it was made by a process of addition, where I started with a basic melody and started adding instruments and sounds to add to the feeling that I wanted to reach, then I arranged the songs cutting certain elements adding sounds, modifying certain instruments to give a more realistic and less monotunous feeling, it was inspired by Undertale and Final Fantasy mainly.

“Cascade” was a beautiful piece! My only criticism is that I’d like to have heard drums to support the bass in “Shining Day”. Great job overall though and awesome submission!
Amazing job on "Cascade"!! ^_^
Heh... cute, airy, minimalistic and soothing. Well done, thank you!
Minimalist, quiet, contrast between tracks, beautiful combination of sounds from different sources. Well done 😄
I quite like it, it has a really nice vibe going, I can feel the undertale influences (in a good way) particularly on the first track. Well done!
In my opinion, Cascade has a much more interesting ambiance (Shining Day is great too, don't get me wrong :P).
Working on the balance/presence of the instruments could help a bit, I think. The bass, for example, is sometimes taking a lot of space in the mix. It can be noticed especially when it stops. But maybe it's also about my headphones.
Great stuff anyway, interesting to listen to. Good work :D
I really liked these tracks! Lovely use of harmonies to keep the flow going while not being too intrusive - well done!
I liked your use of reverb a lot!
Oo this is interesting. Nice and down-tempo at points. Cascade in particular has some really great pad and ambient usage. The keys cut through in just the right way and as a whole the track feels like an evolution from start to finish.
