Cool style! I appreciate that you went for an authentic chiptune sound! I'm not sure what all is possible with the emulated NES hardware, but the bass voices were a little harsh to my ear, maybe because they reminded me of computer error sounds (which might actually fit the cyberpunk theme even better, lol 😄). Other than that, I think most of the instrumentation was good. The intro track felt a bit disjointed to me, especially the part that starts around 0:43, which could have maybe been more integrated into the composition. The title screen track did better in this regard, having a clearer structure, but maybe it could have used more variety. I think the "Ingame Theme" had the best overall impact, but I think it just needed a little something extra to give it that theme song "punch." It was an enjoyable listen, though: the tracks complement each other well and I could definitely imagine them in a retro cyberpunk game! Nice work!

Loved the motif in the first track. Love the use of an extremely strict 8 bit sound with the triangle wave only (honestly my favorite wave). Cool stuff!

Streaming link appears broken to me. Anyways, no matter, the download worked.

Track 01 - Neat bass.

Track 02 - Nice tune. Favourite bit in this is the arps. I always like those super fast arpeggios that you hear so often in tracked music.

Track 03 - Pretty neat sound effects around 50 seconds in. Also like how it ramps up here.

Favourite track is the title theme (02).

Interesting to hear what you were able to create with just a couple of limited synth voices!

Would have loved to hear a bit more progression in each track – adding something, like an extra percussion element or the occasional chord stab every couple of measures would help a lot to keep the interest up!

Not enough chiptune in this world! Title has a really catchy main melody, and the swirls inbetween support it nicely!

I don’t know if the minimalism was a creative choice or perhaps as a result of a lack of free time for the jam, but I really like it!

Cool stuff, but very anxiety inducing :D Kept nodding my head through the whole thing!

I especially like the track 3 theme, super funky and original sound. Great stuff!

Is it just me or is your streaming link broken? I'll come back to this later.

Ok, downloads worked! Really fun and wonky tracks. Exactly what I would expect from an NES robot-and-tech game for kids. Track 3 is my favorite, I love how it speeds up and gets more nervous. Great for some panic scene.

I can imagine this being ost for a bootleg Battletoads reskin called "CyberPunk 1983"

I have a lot of respect for people who make music on trackers, I've always been confused by them so props to you! Awesome old school video game vibes
