Description
“In the town of Yriad, a child’s strength is only proven in a fight with one of the mighty dragons. As the dragons are valued for their scales, few remain in the world. Only one dragon can be spotted near the town of Yriad: the mighty white dragon El’Zohin. And, at the age of 20, it is time for a new girl to prove herself in a dragon’s trial.”

Made in Musescore 3 using some external soundfonts such as the ‘Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra’, ‘Masterpiece’ and ‘Nice Bass Plus Drums v5.3’.

Message from the artist
Hey there :D

Theme

Chronicles of the Azure Sky: The White Dragon's Melody
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
I tried to make a mystical atmosphere using the Shakuhachi, Harp and Strings. Given that the theme was about a dragon, I felt it fitting that one of the themes was an encounter and one was a battle theme (I love making battle themes :).

The Dragon's Flames, The Trial of El'Zohin!: Ooh, that shakuhachi and sitar (i think). Love the instrumentationThis track reminds me of the Illusion of Gaia ost. Love the Latin feel too.

The White Dragon El'Zohin: Love the harp and chord choices here.

Great work!

Developer

Thanks a lot! It is indeed a sitar (you can download the PDF if you want to be sure about my instruments :). I am glad you like the feeling and chord progressions :D

YES! more fast paced fun songs! unique instruments as well. All the pianos can get a bit tiresome so unique instruments not only catch my attention more, they make the whole thing feel more creative.

Developer

I also love fast-paced songs :D. I had recently heard of the Shakuhachi and felt it fitted the theme well, glad you like the choice!

The first track seems so familiar but I can't put my tongue on it, regardless I think I vibed with that one the most. I admire the choice of instruments to get the theme set.

Developer

Oh, I am interested to hear what it reminds you of - if you remember, feel free to tell me! Given the simplicity in chords and melody I used, I am bound to be similar to someone these days ;). Glad you like my instruments :D

Great work here! I'm getting a bit of Hungarian Rhapsody from the first track, was that intentional? I liked the energy that the percussion added to the more orchestral instruments.

Developer(+1)

Actually, no, that was not intentional! I used as inspiration only a single online video (something with a dragon) for the instruments, and the theme just developed as I went. Perhaps it is one of those accidental plagiarism cases. Glad you like it :D

I'm sure Franz Liszt will forgive you 😌
