I think there are some cool ideas here! I like how you explored the two different styles which felt emotionally distinct but still part of the same soundscape, which I think can be hard to do, so good job there! In some ways, I think you could have played with the back and forth even more, but I know there was limited time to work on this, so that might have been a factor. Also, this might just be a personal preference, but there were a few places where I felt the drums were mixed a little too loud and made it harder to appreciate what you had going on with the melody, particularly in the final track -- but, again, I know it might have been an intentional choice to lead with the drums that way. Definitely could see this in a game, nice work!
i really like this interpretation of the theme! Also have a soft spot for LMMS sounds as it was my first DAW haha
I think your idea for switching between worlds is best conveyed in the second track where you keep the melody, but alter it to sound more cursed. I also liked the final boss theme. Reusing the melody from the previous track was a nice touch. Well done!
Very effective contrasts between happy and cursed sections! Exceptionally well done in the intro. I think that latin-like rhythmic melody would sound even better with some wood/mallet percussion instrument.
It's really cool how the songs change to the "evil" version, great job!
