Description
The genre is Anime OST, I think... I mean it's mostly "atmospheric"... idk
It was my first time using a DAW so I struggled a little bit. At first I recorded myself improvising around the melody of the piece and then left the parts that I liked and added some VSTs that came with my MIDI controller. I particularly like how it ends :) .

Hauntingly beautiful. Its a really lovely track

Beautiful piece, those bell keyboards are haunting along with the piano. Effectively creepy-but-pretty!

Got shivers right around one minute when the pad comes in and signals the variation in the melody. Really love your focus on minimalism and beauty in subtlety. Fantastic.

This is a very pretty track. I think that virtual story-telling gets into trouble when they don't balance the fast battle music with soothing pensive ambient tracks like this one. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep up the good work!

Thank you!

I like it, it's nice and peaceful. I'll come back to it later too xD

If you like this style, I think you'd probably also like this Fran Bow OST.

Yes!! Just yesterday I discovered the  OST from Little Misfortune and eventually found that track as well. (I also  really like this one  :D ).

Nice OST, I'll check out the game too. Thanks xD

So soothing. Keeping this subtle and with room to breathe was an excellent choice. The bells go perfectly with the piano.  I feel like I'm recalling a sweet memory on the sand, to one of my best friends before they have to leave for a long time. You nailed it with the title, I could all but see the ocean waves you conjured. To quote you "I particularly like how it ends" also! Very sweet. Nice job!

I'm really glad you liked it, Thank you! :D

Quite rare to have anime music! Very atmospheric, right in the theme!

I really liked this! Songs with very few tracks can very easily sound 'empty', and I think you did a really great job of avoiding that - the little background ambient bits gave it a load more atmosphere without distracting from the piano.

I wouldn't have guessed it was your first time using a DAW, the whole thing sounded super well balanced.

Thank you! :D

Very ambient tune, the outro was definitely nice to hear!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I really love the way it turned out...

And it's anime! Pretty and cute and kind melancholic?  I think you could introduce one more idea to give some diversity, it's up to you. Good track, solid emotions.

I thought the same thing!, but I love the original track so much that  I didn't want to stray too much from it so I decided to keep it simple.
