very nice. really like the variety of songs, all nicely having just enough to make them feel like they belong together.

Description
The game I had in mind would have been called "A Journey to Remember" the phrase itself immediately gave me vibes of classic RPGs and such why I took inspiration from those, as well as chiptune music in general!
---------- THE MUSIC ----------
1. Telling Stories:
This piece would serve as an intro cinematic, as well as serving as a reprise at the end of the game. It would reveal to the player more about who they would be playing as, and then later at the end of the game as the hero's actions and experience culminates as they come to terms with and decide who they are.
2. Long Road:
This piece is a simple loop, supposed to serve as a more laid back and relaxed setting from the rest of the game, perhaps what would play in an inn or bar.
3. Sacred Grove:
This piece would play in a specific setting in the game, an ancient grove and temple, now almost completely reclaimed by nature. Within the player would find a strange air of calmness with minor hints at something more mysterious happening behind the scenes.
4. Turnabout:
This piece is a dynamic one, ideally in a game the first half would loop until a certain point in a scene is reached wherein it would transition to the second half of the piece. In this song, it feels as though a piece of heavy news is revealed to the player and the hero, however, after some moments of reflection and understanding a new feeling of hope is instilled into the hero as they continue to press on.
5. Deliberation:
This piece is supposed to convey feelings of mystery and unease. As a loop, this could be used in a moment to reveal to the player and hero who they truly were before they lost their memory, making them question whether their quest to rediscover themselves was truly worth it and whether they really can be the hero they believe themselves to be.
6. Hero's Respite:
This piece approaches more calming feelings. To give the players a moment of piece and understanding. This could be used in a moment in the game that reassures the player and the hero that their quest is indeed worth it, and that one shouldn't be judged by their past decisions but rather by how they've grown and what they've becomes.
( Composer's note: I would relisten to "Telling Stories" at the end as well as the beginning of the soundtrack to get a more complete feeling towards the experience! )
Message from the artist:
Overall, I am fairly happy with what I was able to produce in this week for this OST Jam. Especially considering this my first Jam!
To be quite honest, I have been experiencing a rather harsh creator's block and so I didn't make as much as I wished I had.
(During a good week I could have made double the amount of music at least)
However, with that in mind I am still satisfied with the result and confident in my work!
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
The game I had in mind would have been called "A Journey to Remember" the phrase itself immediately gave me vibes of classic RPGs however, I wanted to differentiate a little from this as well by using the title as a double meaning.
The game would be a classic RPG but the plot would follow our hero who's lost their memory entirely, and the game would cover their rediscovery of who they are and any other complications that may arise from that, will they return to their old life or continue on as the new version of them they've discovered throughout their journey? The hero's journey is both a journey to remember in that it will be an unforgettable journey of discovery and growth, as well as a literal journey to remember who they were.
