Description
Soundtrack made for an non existing game.
For those checking my youtube link, this is not the final version. if you want to hear the final version please download below or check Soundcloud.
Early on when I only had some drums and ambient sounds it had a very distopian-cyberpunk feeling. Probably best to use as an outro of a (cyberpunk) RPG game. Revealing final secrets and letting the main character wondering away in the distance. Using the second half of the music to show the credits.
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
My original idea was to start with the sound of the sea. within the music you would get some forest/swamp sounds, ending with birds and wind for the mountains. in the end only the sea managed to get inside, the rest was skipped mainly because of time issues. If you really want me to fit in, last time I made any sounds was 10 years ago. Had to reinstall software and spend most of my free time learning stuff on Youtube. last couple of days was a journey to remember for me :). Did learn a lot off cool stuff though, and already looking forward to start all over again on a new project.

Great retro synths. Has a John Carpenter vibe, and would also work well in a stylized horror game. Sets a great tone for a main menu. Would love to hear the themes and concepts expanded on. Well done!
Immersive and atmospheric soundtrack!
The kick could use some velocity changes for a more dynamic sound.
Regardless, great work.
Really cool sound design! I was really hoping for some claps/hi-hats as the track went on to really cement the rhythm, but keeping things simple is cool, too. :)
I really like that synth-guitar sound, but I think it could have used a bit more love (reverb, modulation) to make it sit better with the wishy-washy synths and kicks.
the guitar definitely could use a lot more love :). I added it the last day after spending 2 days of giving up on the jam. I dislike it starts to become repetitive at the end, and tried to add a bit more melody at the end but with the time constrains of the jam I in the end kept it as it was.
This is great, I love your minimal melody overlaying the noisy background. The fact that the melody changes only after 4 minutes and then the song immediately fills me with suspense.
Really great usage of sounds! Nice overall atmosphere as well!
I love the vibe, great work with filters and this long reverb thing. Lead synth could use a little bit of love and variations (in dynamics for example), but good nonetheless.
Cool ambient sound, intrique beat and haunting melody. Good job!
Great job with painting your cinema ideas in both the description and the music. I think you totally nailed what you were going for. Bravo!
First science fiction entry I've encountered, great ambient sound design and verbed out percussion.
Really futuristic :) Fits for 2D game in cyberpunk world. I enjoy the synths. Percussion part is also enjoyable! Good job!
Love the futuristic, synthwave-inspired sounds and vibe!
I love the big synth soundscape! It fits the dystopian cyberpunk theme perfectly. Nice work!
Absolutely LOOOOOVE that buildup! Really cool! Suits the cyberpunk theme very well. Awesome work on this track! <3
Your work has a very interesting futuristic atmosphere :)
The buildup is great! I’m glad you’ve come back to music making and learned new things :)
I love the cyberpunk nature of this piece, especially the intro, and those synth sounds are very, very tasty. This sounded more like an opening to me than an outro, it got me very interested very quickly. Either way, it sounds great!
Very good percussions, deep sounds, well made electronic effects, ... everything is there to offer a strong, dark futuristic atmosphere. The repeated, hypnotic notes, with phaser effects, bring a touch of the great classics to Vangelis / Eno, while the guitar brings a more current touch. Very few variations in this ambiant music, but that's the whole principle of a hypnotic atmosphere. Strange flying final of the guitar, on a background of sounds of "pink noise" of the sea or the wind. The journey ends as it started.
