Explain your hypothetical game concept & how you interpreted the theme!
The game concept is a young man is tasked with saving the mayor's daughter and has to enter the cave she is thought to be held in. I interpreted the theme of an inexperienced man starts on a journey of becoming a hero.
What genre is your soundtrack?
Orchestral
Anything else you'd like to add?
I used the mysterious nature of the whole tone scale to create a large amount of tension and to inspire a sense of doom at the finale of the piece.

There's some great bones here! Well done :) I agree with cjee246 below that working on automating the dynamics of the virtual instruments would really help take it to the next level.
Great job! Love the whole tone ending! Sounds like someone died haha
I’d suggest play around with the note velocity and legato on your strings. Every note starts quiet and ramps up and it starts to pop out a bit much after a while.
interesting take on this! The use of a whole tone scale definitely made it a more dissonant and mysterious sounding piece. Makes you wonder if this new hero will last long enough to be known as one...
I would suggest having another solo instrument to do a call and response with the flute. I think this could add some depth to the track!
Thanks for the feedback! That's definitely something I'll have to keep in mind for my next composition.
cool concept👍
