cool graphics, it gets really repetitive tho

Thanks for your positive Feedback! We appreciate your revision and are still on the way to improve our game!

Cool looking game, I like the use of the colors for that super bright atmosphere that's quite original.

Like the other said it gets pretty repetitive, it could use some variety and an incentive to force the player to move.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback, we are still relatively new to programming, but we have a lot of fun maintaining this game, there will certainly be some new things and textures should be revised

Great bones! I included it in my Palette Jam 2 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Wenn jemand von meinen Schnitzelbäumen gegessen hätte, wäre ich auch wütend :D

You've made good use of the limited palette, and the colour scheme is very bright and peppy. The sprites look good too, and I could imagine the style working quite well if it was a little more animated.

This is a good base for an arena shooter, I think. Reminds me of something I would've played on Newgrounds bakin the day. You could consider building on that - including more types of enemies, perhaps some powerups, that sort of thing. The controls feel good.

A note about Godot: You seem to have included your whole project in the download. You just need the executable files (.exe/.x86_64) plus the .pck file, that one already contains all the assets. Godot packs these up for you when you export your game.

Thanks for your comment! Ofc we add a few more enemies, some of them will shoot, some of them will be a little tanky. The Enemies will turn to the player later on, so the game looks cleaner and better. Badly (the reason the game is uncompleted) the designer of our two man group got sick, we only had 2 days (but thats no excuse ofc).Soon we add better and cleaner Sprites and a much bigger map with more Spawnpoints.

Interesting concept! Although the game feels a bit short with the only mechanic I can see being shooting at the enemies that come after you. Tends to get pretty repetitive after a bit.

Developer

Thanks for your comment! We add much more to the game. Like Powerups, better sprites, bigger map, skins, bulletskins and much more.
