thanks!

the jump is *way* too weak, I got stuck on the two enemies in a row

fun game, the controls are the point but they were

really bad

cool graphics, it gets really repetitive tho

incredibly strange game

*way* too many enemies, the ships look good tho

I don't really have ideas for more levels 😅 but it was really fun to make

thank you!

neither was I when I upgraded, luckily I was able to downgrade to 3.3 before the jam was over

yea the trees could've been a bit clearer in hindsight

fun game, amazing on-the-fly palettization!

I love the nixie tube score counter, I would say to ditch the parallax stars because they are very close in size to small bullets, aside from that it's a great game

pretty fun, but the way the tongue doesn't stop on the first bug/spider makes it hard to properly catch only the bugs

very overwhelming for a non-rythm game player, 16 moves might be a bit much but very pretty

fun and aesthetically pleasing (score: 2462 (or was it 2426? don't remember 😅))

fun game, but the difficulty curve is a bit steep

what godot version did you build this in?

input on web seems to randomly fail sometimes which is a bug in 3.4, until that's fixed I'd personally recommend staying on 3.3

aside from that it's a fun but tricky game, nice job

got my ball trapped 😂

the black hole randomly finging the ball around is really hard to react to

very pretty graphics, but the fact that you can't hold left + jump to climb something is incredibly painful for my enjoyment

I randomly died? (I think a blue guy might've spawned in front of me, that feels bad) aside from that it's pretty fun, but maybe the tiles are a bit too small or busy and the train starts a bit too fast

fun game, as you said a bit buggy, but that's just a part of gamejams :p

just playing it

don't worry, it's a gamejam, bugs are expected

the exe is probably fine, but you need the data folder and .pck file as well

main mechanic was kind of unclear

screenshake is a bit too much, and could be massively improved with music, but overall good job

fun game, and looks great

windows download doesn't work (missing the data folder, you can turn on Embed PCK to avoid this) ground moving would be a good idea too, aside from that pretty fun

pretty fun game, sadly can't give it that high of a rating because it breaks jam rules 😅

space as jump is not a great idea with fullscreen button disabled, since it scrolls the screen down a ton, just FYI

pretty fun, some of the comments were a little ambiguous tho

Thanks! I love shaders so this was a fun exercise

thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it

A lot of fun! Fights could've used a tiny bit more oomph but that's a very minor detail

sadly managed to crsah the game somehow, but it looks good, fun game

trying to shoot down and to the right while on the edge is annoying, as is the boss not having a clear indication of health, the boss forces you to move around, but your movement speed is too slow, and stay still at the same time because of how shooting works, this is why most games use 2 directional inputs (2 sticks or arrow/wasd + mouse)

I like the aesthetic and humor, but it felt a bit slow for my taste

yea I hear a lot about the trees not being super clear 😅

(1 edit)

it would be nice if moves start a bit earlier, maybe add more friction to the balls? (ideally add more friction as they become slower, maybe not realistic but would probably feel better)

also found a bug where you can win with blocks still on the playing field

only having one bullet is really annoying, and the enemy skips around the screen somewhat which makes it really annoying as well

very clean aesthetic, the multiple balls got somewhat overwhelming, but maybe I'm just bad at the game 😅

could really do with some audio
