Yes

Summarise your game!
A tight, points-based roguelike taking place on a Monopoly board game, with a roaring 20s gangster theme. Decide what properties can be placed on what streets, carefully choose your goons, and roll dice to see who must pay tribute.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Avoiding a more literal interpretation of the theme, in Mob Dice, you are the weapon of the law, the underworld enforcer of said law, and it is you who allows and disallows development in your area, and where you throw your dice determines who must pay.

I think the concept is good but it is not really my type of game (i personally am not a fan of mob theme or high variance but other people likely enjoy those).

At the beginning of the game, you pick 3 properties but you may not hit them at all for several minutes which is weird.

Because the board start empty, it feels like nothing is happening for a while (I didn't touch the speed setting, maybe the default speed should be higher).

If i was trying to iterate on the concept, I would try letting people fill a small board at the very beginning then when the round is over, the board expands with new places to fill, that way you can see the mechanics on a small scale but the early game does'nt feel empty.

I would also change the way the round animation play. Have each character do a full turn by themselves. Characters don't interact with each other so they don't need to play simulatenously. Remove the die roll animation only showing the die roll result for the round to go faster. Have a little screen once a character finish a turn to show what they landed on and how much money with an option to directly skip to the result screen.

I like the crudely drawn icons but the combinations with the texture art is jarring to me.

Overall, while I didnt really enjoy playing it, I would be curious to see how you iterate on the game if you decide to do so.

It was an interesting thing to play so thank you for making it and sharing it with the world.

This game is so fun. I am absolutely addicted to getting a huge combo on the illegal gambling ring, it's so fun to get a crazy amount of points when you pull it off. The music is so good, I played 2 full rounds and I never got tired of it at all, I love it. I ended up with a score of 715,224 and a best run of 204,756. Great work on this it's one of my fav games I've played in the jam so far.

Very fun game! I really enjoyed both the theme and the building up of your strategy. Would definitely love to see a reroll mechanic for the upgrades. Very interested in the direction you could go with further development in this. Loved building up my small blocks of bars to control the flow of my own pieces.

A fantastic roguelike game. the inspiration from billionaire is easily shown. But despite this the difficulty scaling of the game is too easy in my opinion. The choice pool for the game in both squad and properties also leaves room to explore. Overall a great gameplay loop that leaves more to be desired. I have to ask is Monopoly U-build the inspiration for the hexagonal board? Also if this gets updated would love to see some visual difference in the moving characters like cat ears for the fat cat.

I had never heard of monopoly u-build until now! Yes thanks for the feedback. It's certainly a prototype but the structure is in place there for anything to be added modularly. I would definitely like distinct art, animations and more and more tokens and properties, and even chance cards and other parts to be thrown in too, we will see where this project goes ! Thanks for the feedback !
