Summarise your game!
Bacteria Battles is a top-down auto-battler about genetically engineering a potent microscopic bio-weapon by modifying your genetic code to defeat other, increasingly deadly microorganisms.

It is an auto-battler with a puzzle twist. The game alternates between a block placing puzzle section that increases the stats of your bacteria and a auto-battler section where your bacteria fights to survive.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You play as a bio-weapon bacteria that is genetically engineering itself to fight against other bacteria to become the ultimate bio-weapon.

This was a fun and pretty satisfying auto-battler. The music fits the vibe really well as well! I enjoyed seeing my little blobs zooming around.

I think the build controls were mostly fine, but dragging and dropping to the trash was a little frustrating. I would have preferred maybe to hold right click on a piece for a half second or so to trash rather than needing to drag over to the other side.

I really like this concept. I struggled to understand the build mechanic at first, and ran out of time resulting in a weak boy, but I got the hang of it. Being able to trash the shapes felt a bit weird, not sure what exactly felt off there, but the act of dragging them all the way over to trash to fish for a shape that worked, but then you're also running out of time. It's a stressful little loop.

The combat, I wish it was a bit more clear which one was mine? I'm colorblind so its hard to differentiate the colors, and I don't think there was any indicator as to which blobbo was mine to begin with.

All of that aside, this felt really fun, there's something here, and it works well, just some polish and I could see myself putting hours into this

Really fun game, I feel its a bit easy tho but the whole concept is really cool and watching the cells fight each other is really interesting as well, I feel like its  a bit unfair the placement of the cells during the combat phase since the player one is in the middle and sometimes it doesnt get the chance to eat stuff and grow and gets swarmed before. Overally its really nice, I think if you polish it a bit more and fix up some issues it might turn out really good!

Very cool little game! The core gameplay loop is very solid. The bacteria simulations were very nice, if a bit slow. Good work!
