- I'm personally a fan of visual novels, so using this style of gameplay as a way to tell an interesting story while using the duo themes in a clever way was nicely done. I'd like to see this expanded on as well. I'd say my only gripes, though one smaller than the other were the music being a tad loud, but very catchy and nice to listen to & the dialogue between the characters; more so just wanting an "expansion" on who they are/how they operate for the story you were telling. This was definitely fun, good stuff!
- I really love the art style and the story direction for this! This is a good game that I would urge you to keep working on! That said, for this jam it unfortunately falls short in theming. The shadow aspect is only represented visually and plot-wise, not mechanically; and the alchemy part is not even in the game, so you lost big points there. But again thats just for the jam, you should feel proud of yourself! This is a good game!

This is a sort of detective game visual novel. You investigate an apartment to find out what happened to the protagonist. The game is played entirely with a mouse.

I really like this murder mystery game. Love the character and story. Nice game!
Gave me a lot of Phoenix Wright/ Danganronpa vibes, music (especially the electric guitar solo) was sick and loved the UI transitions. Character and art design was nice too!
I love it!! The art and music are really cool, love the color palette. The story is quite interesting and definitely has some potential. Really gives off some Danganronpa vibes, especially the inspect button animation lol (as a fan of danganronpa, I find it very neat). Looking forward to future updates!
As a huge Umineko fan this was a real treat to play through, looking forward to seeing where you go with it!
Everything from the visuals to music and writing feels really polished, well done!

Not the biggest visual novel fan myself, but I like what you did with the theme. The art style is quite jarring, and hard for me to look at for long periods of time. The sound for the text honestly drives me insane, maybe make it more subtle? Enjoyed it for a bit nonetheless, well done.
This is a cool game, I like the art style and the story is super interesting. Its bugging me that I cant figure it out though! Do you have to submit evidence in a certain order because Ive tried submitting everything and nothing worked

It was question 4, I got the bit where you get a bunch of runes after choosing the window
That was the end of the game. It was supposed to show you a "thanks for playing" screen but it just didn't work on HTML.

Usually not a big fan of visual novels but the art and story of this entry are really captivating. Good job.
The red arrows for changing rooms lack better feedback. The rune system is actually preety fun, but I would like to be able to check them in some sort of menu while investigating.
Also, please dont make the real answer to this riddle boring, like she killed herself and thats that. But make it another option for your "opponent" to try to trick you if you can. That would be preety cool.

If you manage to finish the game I would really love to play it, it is fun, like an ace attorney game.
I am not really a fan of Visual Novels but I had a look at it and I couldn't get past the pinging sounds of the text sorry.
I'll probably change it lol. Or add an option to disable it.
