so I have checked out the issue people have said about the gravity and the infinite jumping. It's because of the collider at the end that the character gets stuck to and u can climb up the collider. It will be fixed with removing the colliders and clamping the x value for certain distance.

Otherwise thank u for the feedback.

Thank u for the feedback. I will have a look at that.

So the chest thing is international to make it so u have to go back to get the item so the gas can catch up sorta like a risk to reward kind of thing. The gravity should be working but will check that out as I have it set to u can't run while in the air. Thanks for the feedback. :D

This is an unfinished project I did for a game a week for school.

It runs in Godot and developed to be used for the browser for mobile phones and for desktop usage.

I told u the 1000 button was allowing me to do with less then 1000.

A new tab isn't standard ? I have 12 + itch.io Webgl games on my profile and none of them needed to be opened in a new tab. Making me open a new tab to play your game and my whole screen is just your view box is still basically Fullscreen.

So your because you knew you needed to make a game Webgl but you developed it still like it's for a windows desktop build and your first response is to get a bigger monitor for my computer?

Maybe I should buy a better graphics card to play Cyberpunk on day one because its unoptimized but if u had a better GPU u could play it still. Maybe the same for Battlefield 2045 etc.

If you response and your start is to say "Oh well its unoptimized get a better setup to play our game" then your really not understanding of a player and their feedback.

?

Well here are a few reasons why I don't like or will like Fullscreen.

1. It makes my pc the whole game which means I can't use my discord or lookup anything or multitask.

2. If something happens in game and crashes it stops my whole browser from working and if Fullscreen its even worse because some will just freeze my display instead.

3. I should have a choice in if I want to play in Fullscreen or not? I play your game not because "I have to" I do it out of enjoyment and if I am not comfortable or enjoying my display being changed to suit your game and that is the only way I can play how is that fair to the player?

4. Fullscreen is a poor excuse for most for not having to "Optimize" or even put effort into making a proper Webgl game.

5. I use my laptop atm and Full screened games use more ram in the browser which I am limited to on my laptop.

Do I really need an excuse to not use Fullscreen ? It should be the players choice.

Some background music would also set the feel of the game to if u wanted.

I tried to run it on my desktop on chrome. I use the up to date version.

Catch up on your 2 games? I am confused

Ooo a Rust engine I like that a lot actually especially a different frame work with Webgl. I only can do Gdscript and Unity and Unreal so can understand maybe ur engine doesn't have the same capabilities to deploy correctly to Webgl. Game looks great either way.

Bro your games are not even playable with out being in Fullscreen? not to mention my catalog of games showcase my skills in crafting a game and the improvements I made in each iteration of each game. I can understand you can't see past that as your just full of hate from my "disrespected take" on your game jam game now your just attacking me out of frustration and trying to have me block u because apparently your comments mean something to someone.. I comment back because I would hope you would say something of feedback but so far its just complete garbage with nothing but to say something that makes zero sense.

Game has a good art style and I like the game however the Fullscreen forcing it on the player isn't a good option to opt for. I would fix that for the player and have the view port a good size for Webgl.

The controls were not apparent in the game when first starting and felt the lack of sound didn't really push the aesthetics of the game otherwise great job.

So the game looks great however the forceful nature of making the game Fullscreen should be an option and not a you have Fullscreen or you don't play and would like to know the reason behind it from your point of view as the developer. Otherwise good game.

I really like this game it was great. The only issue I found was the sound is a bit crackling with some noise in it. Might need to fix in a future update or for your future Webgl game implementation.

I am not a fan of the game forcing a Fullscreen mode onto the player so I am curious why you chose to do so?. I like the visuals but it looks nicely polished.

I like the visual novel style gameplay. It looked well done as well however the size issue of the screen made it almost impossible to see it all in my browser with out going Fullscreen which isn't a "fix" it should be screen sized correctly for optimal playing. Also for some reason all I could click on  was the stairs so unsure if other stuff was supposed to be able to be clicked but it wasn't working for me.

The view port is a bit too small for Webgl games and would of liked the viewport to be bigger with out having to use the Fullscreen button. The sound was a bit distorted and when trying to play it in my headphones.

I really like the game and gave me a good mini game vibe I use to grow up playing in the browser.  The only downfall was the sound as it was a bit crackling and distorted playing. Otherwise great game.

I really enjoy the look and feel of the game. However the click and drag wasn't working for me so unsure if its a bug or not but could not play because I could not click and drag.

So I can say that Unity's URP lighting is optimized for Webgl as my 10+ games are made using Unity for Webgl it's just a balancing act and trying this and that here and there would improve the fps a lot and the code for how you do it also has a dramatic effect especially if you use a private void Update function on your Raycasting which would 100% make the fps drop a bit.

It wouldn't be a hardware issue as long as your device can run DX9 then any game on Webgl should work. Its not a desktop game that is very much hardware dependent. It's like why doesn't a ps5 game run on the ps2 ? Its about what it can use and optimizing your game to work with what it can do.

Some resource for you for Unity with Webgl.

Also I had thought I saw not Violence in the rules. That is my bad.

So a few thing to note that are missing from making the experience better in Webgl which include a bigger sized viewport which I found by my extensive uploads of Webgl games that 1280/720 is the ideal view port and yes you have a Fullscreen option however a game shouldn't be so small that you need to press a Fullscreen button. Your missing the main part of a Webgl game and that's optimization for the UI and scaler that all Webgl games need. If you go up to the outside walls the game's frames dropped a bit which could be due to your use of the multiple instances of a rock with all casting shadows which isn't needed if its only meant to block a player from leaving the game world.
The sound is a bit crackling in my headset and speakers and will need to be fixed in the future to enjoy a good sound experience in the browser.

I understand if you don't like my feedback but its subjective to the user and everyone seems to give "positive" reviews and feedback which doesn't help you do better for your next one and I would prefer critical and somewhat harsh feedback so next time something is made its taken as "Ok I will try to do this next time" practice makes perfect and that's how feedback works.

I like the visuals and the meme's but so great job with that.

Great game and great visuals however the sound was a bit crackling and distorted on my end and if u fix that I am sure it be a better game :D. Also great work on not forcing a player into Fullscreen mode and having it optimized enough for Webgl.

Both all the sounds I heard so far in the game have been a crackling with a bit of noise in it.

Good game I like it especially how well it ran in the browser. The downfall was your sound as its a bit crackling and distorted sounding. If you fix that I am sure the game will be even better and I am happy to see the game was not forcing the player into a Fullscreen view unlike most Webgl games on here.

Game is a bit stuttering in the browser and unsure of why the loading screen was used. Overall I like the aesthetics of the game and the narrative portion is grade A. Also great to see you did not force people into a Fullscreen mode and had the view port as a good size.

I am not entirely sure of the context behind throwing a rock to get a balloon but felt like it was just a standard asset that was used together. I also did not understand the game fully on how to play it but I enjoyed the visuals and the game ran well in a browser and you didn't force people into Fullscreen mode which most of the Webgl games I have played for the jam lack a lot in.

Good game I like the visuals and how well it runs in a browser. I found the combat a bit lacking and the knife flying out as u try to hit feels underbaked. great work but having it run in a browser and not forcing people into Fullscreen.

Sorry I didn't know making 2 games on itch.io was hard for you to bro.

The shadows in this game really make the fps drop hard down. I think it would of been better to have the shadows in a radius around the the player to render if u really need them so not all shadows are being rendered as Webgl can not handle that.

I am sorry but the game forcing a Fullscreen mode isn't okay for a itch.io game. I would prefer in the future you would just have it run as it is on the page and if someone wants to play it Fullscreen you would have that option natively.

I like the prototype however there was some hitches and stuttering when getting close to objects it gives a description for and the screen size is a little bit too large for itch.io page on a 1920x1080 monitor.

It seems like a nice game and enjoy the cinematics made for the game. I however though suggest that you have it better optimized as that would be your "browser issues" also I think I saw that suicide and self harm was against the rules. Unsure if u saw that or not but otherwise on it's own its a good game besides the optimization.

I like the game especially the visualization and aesthetics of it all. The downfall is your sound as it seems to be a bit crackling when being played. Might need to look to optimize that better in the future.

Great to see another game that can play properly in the browser as well.

It seems like a good game loop and I like the visuals but the sound seems to be your downfall. The in game audio is a bit crackling and the sound for the text at the beginning is just trying to repeat for every letter that goes in.

Otherwise great work on having it work correctly in a browser.

How is it hostile? Just saying there is a button to Fullscreen as an option and if u can't press it I understand if that is too hard for you.

I couldn't work out how to play the game. It seemed simple but the controls seem to be something you need to know to play in this game. I also saw what you wrote about the link issue and can say that its not what link you use to play a game. If it doesn't work correctly then its something to fix on your game.
