- This game felt more like "That is not my neighbor" mixed with potion craft from the aesthetic. The game works, though the loop is more boring/frustrating. The whole window not be in frame and the need to pan around with the mouse (which doesn't always work) even with full screen is adding more frustration than anything to the game. The crafting works, though at least the first shift should be forced to make at least 1 of each type and then ramp up the difficulty. The theme of shadows is very very weak. working for a dodgy employee doesn't have a lot of "shadow". Overall good fundamentals, but I would go back and redo some of the aspects (ui/controls) so the game loop actually makes the game challenging/interesting and not boring/frustrating.

The players will be stuck in place at their desks. From there, they will be tasked with crafting potions as the orders come in to keep up their quota, which is progressively increasing in complexity and quantity each day. Memorize recipes and increase productivity, all while keeping yourself safe and plot your escape throughout your shift.
Lore: Kidnapped fresh from college you are tasked to work for the mega-corp Alchemitec, a loving home pharmacy on the surface with secrets that run deep.
Mechanically you will be tasked to create ordered potions as prompted. Using a recipe book you will craft the potions before the shifts end to make your quota. As the days go on the challenge increases.
Extra Notes
Unfortunately, due to time constraints a lot of the mystery needed cut from the prototype for the jam. This was done to focus more on the primary mechanic of potion making.

Cool game, but the controls for flipping through the recipe book were not very intuitive, in my opinion.
I liked the art style, but it became hard to tell what I could interact with. I also had to keep on requesting ingredients to get the ones I needed, which added to the time it took to make a potion
The graphics and sound design are *chef's kiss*. However, the theme of shadows was mostly ignored and I found the potion-making kinda finicky and couldn't get it to work (or maybe I'm just bad). I hope you keep at the game dev thing 7/10
Thank you so much for playing! And thank you for the feedback!
I'm sorry you feel I ignored the theme of shadows; my intentions were instead of building them mechanically, I wanted to use them for the overall setting and theme. Setting everything in a capitalistic-horror setting, working for a shadowy business as a kidnapped and hidden away worker.
What issues were you having with the potion-making? I would love to know as I plan on progressing with the project.
Oh man, so depressing haha. Well done! Loved watching the progress on stream!
Aye, thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it! And thank you so much for playing!
Mystery or not, this game is pretty fun. The art style is really cool and the sound effects are nice.
