Thank you so much for playing! And thank you for the feedback!

I'm sorry you feel I ignored the theme of shadows; my intentions were instead of building them mechanically, I wanted to use them for the overall setting and theme. Setting everything in a capitalistic-horror setting, working for a shadowy business as a kidnapped and hidden away worker.

What issues were you having with the potion-making? I would love to know as I plan on progressing with the project.

Aye, thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it! And thank you so much for playing!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! And thank you so much for playing!

Oh, I understand now! I was unaware there were that many levels after it! Well, as you said, we can only turn it into knowledge for the next one.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for playing!

That's good feedback about the instructions. I try to include accessibility whenever I can, and it will definitely be something added moving forward outside of the game jam.

Overall, the crafting of potions is meant to feel stressful and difficult; however, without instructions, it is more difficult than intended.

I do plan on moving forward with it, and I hope you join us on the journey!

Alchemitec appreciates your dedication!

Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback!

I actually debated whether it would feel better on the edge or the whole page lol. I will try the latter in the next build.

I do plan on taking the project forward. SO I hope you stick around.

Thank you so much for playing! And thank you for the feedback! I greatly appreciate it.

I will look into making the temperature more apparent.

Stress/Tension was overall an intended response lol

I like the idea of the jar. Overall, I plan to change it in some way moving forward. I was never married to the tray lol.

I plan on taking this project forward, so I hope you stick around for the ride.

Great work and use of the theme! I wouldn't worry about level 6 lol

This was absolutely beautiful, with great writing. I really enjoy it!

I really liked this! It took me a second to figure out how I could upgrade skills, but I would love a full release of something like this.

Really Cool mechanically! Unfortunatly lost at the big ol pumpkin though lol

Absolutely Awesome! The story has me hooked!

Lol game jams.  I usually end up with the same issues.

So Wholesome! So Fun! Amazing work! I have no notes. It was just genuinely a fun puzzle game.

Nailed it. Simple and enjoyable!

TL:DR: The slimes defense is CRAZY! Super Fun!

Ok. I'm a total sucker for this. I love roguelikes! So I was immediately engaged by all of it and think I sat and played it for at least 30 minutes. I think with some love, this would be a genuinely fun full game. During my time in it, I only had one issue, and you could probably guess it. I repeatedly got trapped in long-drawn fights where my attention would be lost, and I would play on my phone. I think this could easily be fixed after about 5 rounds by offering a speed up or skip button. However, that did not deter me after countless 5-minute battles with slimes I pushed through 3 bosses in my 4th run gained 78 buy points, and was ready for my god run... When... Black screen, I stand a defeated man. Not knowing what lies beyond the plant boss... 10 out of 10 would play again.

Very cool! I had to look at real dice for reference of another side though lol

I really liked the mechanics. I had a little issue with hitching on movement, unfortunately,

Genuinely good potential.

Unfortunately frame rate made it difficult to play

Omg this is So Much Fun! Great work!

I’d play a puzzle pack lol

This was so fun. I was just browsing jams and saw this.

Very creepy atmosphere loved that. I did feel like I was very generous and still got yelled at by the Administration lol forget those people lol.

Thank you so much for playing and recording it. I had the biggest smile on my face watching you play. So sorry you didnt get to mate. If only I didn't put the instructions on an automatic load screen.

Thank you so much. Yea I'm sorry about the feedback the issue was is they were supposed to be audible but I didn't realize how low it was built before it was two late. The fly's had 3d audio to help find them, and your hunger was a stomach growl. I didn't even think of that for the tutorial sorry again lol. I also would agree on the cause of death to be added. Thank you again for playing though!

That was a very pleasant trip I kept wanting to wait lol

Thank You So Much!

(1 edit)

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yea the one big regret in design was volume. I probably had my headphones cranked when I added it lol, but Thank you again for playing.

We Are Lizard

lol

I wish their was some background music, but I loved it anyway! The writing was really funny, and I found myself playing till the very end.

This was really cool. I loved the ART!!

Unfortunately the game would not start for me. I did however watch the video and it was very pleasant.

Cool game. Was very hard. Combination of the music and repeat death almost cause me to rage lol. Nice work!

Love it! Hard mode was a super fun challenge!

Super fun. Loved the Hard Mode very fun challenge!

I like the old school point and click mechanics. Couldn't quite figure out where to click to open the doors. eventually on the top right door trying to open it I glitched into the room lol.

That's the tutorial wall. its waiting for you to kill the first enemy. I'll think of a better design for that. Thank you so much for playing and I'm glad you like the art.

So this is my second game jam so I don’t really know the general rules of thumb for after you submit your game. My question lies on I really want to work some more on the game I submitted and get it going almost to like a demo status. Is there a general policy for when it’s cool to update the game is that something I should wait for after voting to do.

cause of work I spent maybe 26 😣 I wanted to give it more.
