Excited to see where this goes! Seems to be your most polished work yet, Simon. Keep it up.

Sounds like you've reworked it to a base so that you can build on top of it. Curious to see where you take it!

This is a huge change! I'm curious what you're trying to accomplish with this pivot? What did the old version not do that you wanted, and what is this new version attempting to do to now get it?

I love all the small details already in it like the slight wiggle of the seaweed and such. Excited to see where this one goes!

Very cute, loved the music XD The idea of a fast paced JRPG rogue is an interesting proposition.

What a cute and weirdly terrifying experience! I genuinely wanted to snap my  hand back off of the mouse at multiple points :D

At first I thought it was Overcooked mixed with a fighting game, then someone pointed out it is like Potion Master and DDR. In any case, a really intriguing combo, thanks for building and sharing!

Aaaaahhhhh, bummer! Seems like I didn't explore as thoroughly as I thought I did then!

Thanks so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Funnily enough, that's intended functionality to have the blocks disappear if dragged off, but I didn't get around to the VFX that would communicate that. It's an interesting thing to consider NOT involving that at all and force people to reorient the blocks instead of get rid of them. You've given me something to think about, thank you!

Really rad! Bashed my head against the boss for far too long but pretty sure I got all the secret hearts and was really impressed with how tight everything was.

Love the upgrades and am curious what a more full snake roguelike would look like!

Cute idea, thank you for sharing! Couldn't find the key to the doors though, which made me sad :(  I wanted to feed my brand new FRIEND.

Very cool idea and technically impressive! For some reason I had a hard time turning the monster, not sure what I was doing wrong.

Clearly a lot of love was poured in here, thank you for building and sharing!

Dastardly difficult and addictive! Thank you for building and sharing!

Super cute, loved the art! Congratulations on your first jam!

Had me in stitches, well done!

Thanks so much for playing! Ya, if you drag them off then they don't get eaten, but I didn't have time to build the VFX that would really communicate that :\

Glad you enjoyed it!

A combat-based timer is an interesting wrinkle for an action platformer. Thanks for sharing and building!

I love the idea of bringing more dexterity mechanics into video games. Thank you for building and sharing!

Took me a while to wrap my brain around the puzzle but loved seeing the later stages seeing how the different blocks interacted.

Super and I LOVED the powerups! Took the game in a direction I wasn't expecting and would love to see more!

Deeply disturbing and I'm going to have nightmares now 12/10 GOTY

I am completely intrigued by the idea of a fantasy cook'em-up brawler and would love to see more!

Love games where I control a mob! I could tell that there was more planned for this and I'd love to see where it could go.

I'm sure you learned tons while making this! Thank you for building and submitting, I would love to know what the full intention of the game was.

I love the character growth twist on a classic catch the apple style game. Thanks for building and submitting!

Very cute art and I am intrigued by a bullet heaven where you build your own bullets. Curious how this could grow and what a full release might look like.

Got to maze 4, then died at 17/18. More minotaur media is always wonderful, thank you for making and submitting!

Cute little guy, loved the 2 frame idle animation! The horns made me think I needed to get between them to feed him, but once I figured out to hit him in the face and I could click and drag anywhere, not just on the potions, it started flowing more for me.

Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback! That behavior is intended, but the VFX to really communicate that to the player unfortunately didn't make it in due to time constraints :( The incremental approach is an interesting idea!

Thanks so much, Practical! Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks so much, Tom! That was my first time trying in-level tutorials and I was happy with it. The Beast was a beholder from an asset pack that I removed the eye stalks on, although I loved the design and composition. WOuld definitely take lots of inspiration from that if/when I redid the visuals to be cohesive!

Hey, thanks so much! It was a great little experiment and I learned a lot from it. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Haha, thanks so much! Ya, the web export kind of messed with the win condition. I loved the design for the beast, that came from an asset pack I purchased ages ago off of Humble Bundle that I modified a bit (it used to be a beholder!). Would be fun to redo all the visuals in a cohesive style!

Thanks so much for the feedback and for checking it out! If you hold the block while you remove it, it is supposed to just disappear without feeding the beast. However, the VFX to communicate that (along with the audio), got left on the cutting room floor :(

Also, the win condition got kind of borked in the web export. There is a YOU WIN modal, but it takes forever to show up for some reason :\

Thanks so much! I was actually thinking of possibly adapting it into a mobile experience, kind of like a Cut the Rope style puzzle game...

Haha, thanks for the feedback and thanks so much for giving it a spin!

I'm pooping jumping beans into a voracious black hole that has taken up permanent residence under a cosmic pachinko board. 10/10 idle game.
