- A very simple but polished auto battler rogue lite that keeps you wanting to play just one more round. Mechanics and loop are compelling with each go around through the store offering impactful choices. the art was simplistic but well made. The game also has a relatively fast restart on lose allowing you to go again for one more round but it gets slightly bogged down by the menu splash, skipping right into a new run would be ideal. The GDD was short but informative of the mechanics, however their were no plans on future development roadmaps. Overall a very good game that i hope to see fully realized into a full release. Keep making cool games!

Summarise your game!
Steel Thyself is an auto-battler in which you take control of an enchanted weapon fighting for survival while growing in strength to defeat increasingly dangerous foes. Alternate between buying items from a shop, constructing the ultimate weapon, and battling foes with their own upgrades and strategies. Scale in strength and construct a build strong enough to survive before your opponents overpower you.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The theme is designed around the classic rpg power fantasy of an ever improving weapon, in the game you are the weapon and making decisions on how to become strong enough to defeat your opponents. Choose items and upgrades to grow in power and design your own strategy.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Just the item systems and gameplay interactions, it's definitely the thing I spent the most time on and am really proud of how versatile and modular it came out.
