Trying to remember all the symbols felt like some dark arts version of Wilmot's Warehouse. Really impressive jam entry! I love roleplaying as a little choatic monkey. Thanks for jamming ✨
The style is absolutely fitting. it is a very fun game! I understand the time constraint, but the if the game gets developed after the gem I think it could benefit from a tutorial in game instead of a wall of text ^_^ It scared me.... Nice job!
At least in the start and tutorial screen your game is not responsive for higher resolutions:
I wasn’t able to craft something, should it just happen after I collected the ingredients? At least this is what I understood from the tutorial.
Regarding the controls, I would use the left mouse button to engage, the constant switch between keyboard and mouse is annoying (on my keyboard, I can’t reach space with the left hand, probably my bad ;-)).
Besides these, the game looks really good. Gameplay-wise, I would start much smaller, the number of recipes, ordered items and ingredients is just overwhelming at the beginning.
I think this is a really fun shop management game, and I really like the music and artstyle, but I wish there was an easier way to bring up the recipe list.
Really like the concept with the art and music!
Sadly the recipe list doesn't seem to work (might be my weird monitor resolution pushing it off screen) so I have no idea how to make any of the potions :(
I like the look, the music was also very nice!
I think there should be more visual aid on:
1. What player can interact with and where to find what
2. Clearer recipe list and client expectations
I haven't gone through tutorial or maybe I did something wrong there
Also the cat sprite in many directions is a veeery nice addition
