Nice use of the theme. I like the idea of the player gradually getting slower and slower over time and that the beans shoot lasers for no explained reason. Thanks for jamming

The game has an interesting concept! I like the idea of going through levels quickly. But the game requires significant improvement both visually and in terms of balance. Good luck developing your game after the jam!
This was fun, I tried pretty hard to beat it but that last room was tough I couldn't kill the big center bean. I like the caffeine mechanic in the game it made me want to race thru everything as fast as possible. I think it'd maybe be nice if the enemies took a tiny bit longer before they fired at you, the ones around corners would usually get a shot off on me instantly. I wish getting too much caffeine just filled the timer instead of killing you cuz there was a lot of waiting for my timer to hit 39 or 19 sec before grabbing a pickup. Great job on this though I had a very fun time playing it!
Yeah, the game definitely has balance issues, I agree that we didn't really get it right with the maximum energy amount, and the enemies definitely shouldn't be able to instantly fire. I'm glad you enjoyed it though and thanks for the feedback!
A nice, short game and a good idea. However, I would've liked the max energy amount to have been a bit higher (70-80).

A fun game. I liked the idea that you need energy, but if you have too much energy, you die. The gameplay was fast and intuitive too. I would have liked to play a post-jam version with improved aesthetics. I think that with energy and health bars, instead of numbers, the gameplay would be even more smooth.
