its good very much
The game has a nice menu with sounds, it can be prettier with a little more graphic design (i think the colors and the background are a little bit chaotic).
Being able to jump at only specific locations is brilliant, the last level i think had a short cut so the ending was anti climatic... anyway, good game, collisions and the player's speed need a little more work.
Lastly, having a bell ring doesn't cut it to fit the jam's theme, for me it has to be relevant to the gameplay/mechanics or at least to the story.
It's rough around the edges, but I had fun with it regardless. Give me blocks and a character to jump on them, and you can never go wrong :) though I was damn near ready to tear my hair out at the second to last challenge haha, landing on the half of the blocks that didn't have the side arrows was a nightmare!!
I don't think this game hits up the theme at all, but whatever. Hope you had fun making something :)

10/10 for adding a menu and sound, I would rate your game higher than a good game with no UI. as for the game it was very simple and I enjoyed the challenge. I think the mechanic is quite interesting and I would have loved to see the game lean more into the puzzle genre instead of making it a basic platformer. the graphics where cute but you could have made a separate sprite for the wide arrow block so it doesn't look out of place when its stretched like that.
I'm not Shure how the game fits the theme but that's not a train smash.

I enjoyed your 2D platformer, you had audio, functioning menu systems and nice artwork. your puzzles were easy to solve, but difficult to carry out the solutions. I appreciate the effort that you put into this especially for a very short span of time.
my biggest note for this game, would be that the player moves too fast. when it came to the puzzle where you had to jump on the blocks but not touch the blocks that pushed you, it is a very difficult jump to make because of how fast the player moves.
otherwise It was overall a very solid platformer :)
