I love how simple yet fun this game is! I really enjoyed playing it, and I would love to see a more polished version with more content!
I really like this submission. I think the reloading of the petals and shooting them out in a fan pattern is actually really cool and a great core mechanic for your game. Especially for a first game jam I think this is a great submission and you should be proud of it!
Cool game with interesting shooting mechanics and animations! I felt it lacked increasing difficulty and variety in characters; by the way, our games are very similar in terms of concept. Overall, enjoyable gameplay, but it becomes repetitive quickly. For a first jam, it's quite good!
Art style is very simple but I managed to beat some waves :)
Pace of the game is just the right, but cant feel like im winning or something like that

I think that it would be better if I could shoot even if the flower is not fully loaded, limiting the area.
The other thing is that I don't feel a real progression between waves, the first one is very similar to the third and so one.
Simple but well executed. I can see it being expanded with more of everything (bigger map, more ennemies, more hit point, hearts to loot, XP to loot, upgrades).

At first, without reading the description of the game, I assumed I had to escape the worms.
So I first played without the space bar, and I was like "ok, I don't get it"
But then, the fire mecanic reveals the theme and it was quite better ! ;)
Pretty cool, it would have been cool to have a default shoot so that you dont need to use what feels like a bomb for each attack. Since you already had the framework for how many petals you were charging up it woulda been awesome to have a smaller more precise attack.
