I can emphasize the good atmosphere of the game and the pleasant sound design. I didn't understand how to play right away, but over time, I adapted. Perhaps there's a need to modify the level design; personally, I couldn't keep up with all the flowers. Nevertheless, the game is lively overall, thanks to the pleasing animations.
Thank you so much, levels would be better designed if we would give them more time, we was running short on time se i figured we can just make them hard so people will replay them and game will take them more than 3 minutes, all of our choices about levels was not that good, worst side of our game is level design
Awesome graphics, sounds, music fits well, gameplay is precise and responsive; I know you were short on time to add in more levels but this is a very satisfying result you should be proud of!
Ultimately the way the game is now is more about optimizing your run to get a perfect accuracy score.
However I don't get why the keybindings to play the game are not more visible in the about section, it was abit confusing playing the game at first, better yet, make the keybindings permanently visible in the menu screen, otherwise I enjoyed this one alot.
Thanks a lot a lot for you feedback, And yeah i thought wasd or arrows and space or enter is obvious keys that people just spam when load level, i guess not
Its very original and fun, also the graphics ae very good.
You making me smile with that wholesome comment
I like this submission, its a fun concept with fun visuals and a fun execution. For some reason I was only able to play level 1 though. Even with VSync on the other levels wouldnt load for me and I would just get put into like the void.
Overall I do like it though!
Very strange that even with V-Sync levels wont load, its maybe because your Gpu or Nvidia settings do not allow V-Sync maybe, Love to hear that you had fun
the game was original and had a creative take on the theme. one of my favorite games in the jam so far
Thanks for feedback, Also your game is really great
thank you.
Art and sound design are good. I think the gameplay could be more interesting, possibly increase difficulty with more levels or add more mechanics.
We thought of all of that but we didnt had time, we put 99% on polish and 1% to level design, Really wanted to put more time to levels but was already too far
I think that it has a lot in common with Pac-Man! Overall it was a good experience.
Game Design: clever mechanic, perfectly in theme. I don't know if, in a full game, the fact that a missed flower makes the level harder is a good choice. It makes the players go for 100%, restarting when a flower is missed, which is less permissible for non-skilled players. But for a game jam is fine!
The 100% windows should be more permissive because the fact that the player understands the perfect route in the level is not enough to complete it at 100%, giving him frustration for repeating a level that he already mastered.
Level Design: it misses a real progression. You have to first introduce the mechanic in a super simple level, then build up difficulty level after level. The fact that the player is catapulted into the level with a timer, enemies, and QTEs is confusing and overwhelming.
You also should be aware of the second dynamic that you have that occurs when 2 flowers are blooming at the same time at a different speed. That is something that you have to teach too in a simple level.
So, for example, you should have:
1. tutorial - one flower only
2. simple level - enemy and 2 flowers
3. medium level
4. simple level with flowers that bloom at different speeds
5. medium level
6. hard level
Sound Design, Graphics, and Music are not my fields, but I find them pleasing
I started making level at 3:00 at last day of jam Bruh i aint put any game design to it cuz i wanted to sleep so bad, Yeah game design of the game is so bad, I thought of all of that on game idea stage but didnt had much time to put a effort to it
Bruh, you asked for feedback on those fields, you don't have to find excuses for a game jam.
I just put stuff there that can be feedbacked on bruh
Guys we figured out problem with level not loading, You can just Turn on V-Sync and game will run well, PLEASE RePlay Game with V-Sync If you had played the game and levels couldn't load and you rated game, We really want to have justice rating (Sorry if too dramatic)
I liked the aesthetics like design is music! But the gameplay itself i didn't quite understand
Thanks for feedback, Gameplay is just chop flowers in right timing, and at the end of level it shows how accurate you choped and time within you cleared level
Cant play just have a brown horizon try to open it in fullscreen, didnt help
but cool music
Try using V-Sync
I cannot play the game because opening a level just displays a brown horizon... But the title screen music is nice.
Its problem with high fps (dont ask) you can try using V-Sync that might help, And yeah music we made our selves Thanks
The game didn't load on my machine, just open the menus
Im sorry to hear that, Try using Fullscreen mode for someone it helps
Try using V-sync this might help
Nicely done! Good job
I appreciate feedback
Liked the art style and animations!
Thanks i made them in 30 seconds :)
Faced with the problem that almost every time after I die or open a new level, I have such a screen. Sometimes even restarting doesn't help. The music is cool, but I didn't immediately understand how the control works. The graphics are also good :).
Its Engine's problem sadly, Thanks for your feedback
You welcome! Cool game anyways :
I had the same issue, and playing in fullscreen (settings > fullscreen) solved the problem for me.
Thx for help!
Let me know what you think about game :)
