Cool aesthetics!

Thank you, unfortunately the assets are not made by me due to time constraints, but you can check them out in the Credits section.

Lovely pace, easy controls, didn't become frustrating and stayed enjoyable! UI elements didn't jump out enough imo, and power-ups were hard to differentiate, but a solid game nonetheless!

Hello TFphoenix! I like your game! The controls are decent, but I found a glitch where if you mouse over the planet exactly, it breaks the game by placing the spaceship at the center of the screen where all of the asteroids spawn into it, and you have to end the run. The game has a pretty nice implementation of the theme. I like the drawings of the planets and asteroids. The sound is pretty exciting.

Hi TheWatermelonMan!
Thank you for trying it out and for your suggestions. I'm aware that the player controller is a bit unreliable, and I discovered some similar bugs myself, unfortunately mainly due to time constraints I wasn't able to debug it properly. The assets are not my own work, you can check them out in the Credits section on my game page, they saved me a lot of time =))

I took music myself from CC by attribution sources and just avoided doing sprites altogether as a ““solution”” to be done in time as well.

the premise is solid, it fits the theme

the choice of assets mostly fits together, though I found the asteroids a bit weird and blobly 3d-y while the rocket is sort of flat, there’s some collision in style there

music is great but can get repetitive because the loop is relatively short

Thank you for trying out my game! 🙏

I totally agree with your suggestions. Unfortunately, I only had a couple of hours at my disposal, and I found this jam as a good opportunity to try Godot out, so there is definitely room for improvement 😅

you certainly picked the scope well then given the circumstances, that’s an art in itself
