Glube's voice is great. The "next" button usage to swap from side to side was next level.
Cheers! It’s secretly a “chase the button game”. Haha.
The facial visage evoked in the pursuit of refuse encapsulates a universal experience among us all, one invariably summoned by all in the quest for detritus. This animation stands as a testament to its impeccable verisimilitude, accentuated by the superlative synergy of artful animation, deft vocal intonations, and a character configuration that resonates with excellence. The inclusion of an endearing puzzle dynamic garners further commendation, culminating in a singular symphony of ingenuity.
Verily, this compendium possesses an all-encompassing embodiment of its titular theme, wherein resides an exquisite amalgamation of attributes. Amongst these, the patently titular element finds its zenith—trash in its quintessential glory, epitomizing the very essence of this compositional ensemble.
Indubitably, it is my conviction that the artist's interpretative resonance emanates from the profundities enshrined within this composition. With deft strokes of both artistry and insight, the message unfurls: that the very tapestry of companionship finds its weft and weave in the offering of detritus betwixt kindred spirits. A veritable ode to the societal ethos intrinsic to our own species and to kindred species, it avers that the nature of the proffered artifact is secondary to the ineffable spirit of benevolence that undergirds the act of bestowal.
By this artistic parable, the quintessence remains—be it the tangible or the intangible, the essence is a symbiotic exchange of tokens, emblematic of a quest, not merely for the mundane trinket but for the communion of souls.
A toast to the artist(s)!
A true text masterpiece!
I played all the way through and I loved the kinetic art (I did something similar in Hikikomori…. I guess great minds think alike :D ) and it’s so big, bright and colorful to look at. So polished! And another Godot user - huzzah!
Haha, thank you! I highly enjoyed your game as well. Really cool mechanic. I didn’t notice a few things until I saw them play it yesterday. And yes, Godot all day!
Love it!
Trash - broken U on junkyard sign; UI on stoic globe dialogu; Objet d'Art - visuals are amazing. so human and natural, love the line boil. So trashy... great work! 👏👏👏
Cheers! I didn’t even patch it, to keep it trashy!
I love it! I even threw up in my mouth a little at the end.
Trashy sweet!
The core mechanic is so cool; I've never played a puzzle game like this. Wonderful art too. Catch me at the Goopy Pool every Saturday.
Thank you! I thought ways to improve the loop but it must be left as trash…
I really enjoyed the voice acting! Also, nice use of the modifiers ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Haha, thank you! Yeah, the voice acting was a late addition and well done. I’ll pass it on!
Good job! Much trash, many butts, and the diaper level was disgusting.
Art also went hard compared to everything else, so very pompous.
The Diaper Pit! Haha, thank you. I spent too much time drawing and animating and so little on the actual programming…
Very tasty 👌
Also, is there some mechanic to get by the dangerous objects so we don't hurt handsome Glube?
I, regrettably, spent less than a day with the main game loop and that was the last day before submission (which Green Fox / Ryan) can attest to. I just slapped it together with little thought on its design. It may have been better if the movable blocks would cancel out the dangers though.
I was intuitively kind of expecting that to be the case—a rock/hole system. If you ever get back to it, it would be a great addition!
Yeah, I might try to clean up the main loop. At least fix the grabber end of the tentacle.
Amazing game. Love the art especially!
Cheers! It was the best bit really.
