"Let us know if there are any bugs :)" - I found 2 bugs. One of the bartender dialogs was covered by the "Continue" button, so some important word wasn't readable. And, when taking notes in the Notebook-Flyin, I think the Return key also triggers the Dialog to continue/end.
Other than that, the hand-drawn Graphics and their animation look really good! The music contemplates the mood and atmosphere of the game also well.
For the game page design you over-shot with the custom styles by quite a lot. The way it looks now, it doesn't serve your game very well. If I were you, I would pick the style of the intro sequence of the actual game (the one with the bold text and diagonal lines, and the blue background) and would take this style and colors as a base for the games page - just an oppionion guided by my own taste and sense of aesthetics, of cause.
A tough one. The interactions were nice, and I liked the spec of color on the choices in an otherwise dark world. The characters were great and seemed to have their own backstories, although it was tough to see them as more than just set pieces.
Hello,
I must say that the graphics and the audio go really well together. I tried to replay the game several times, but did not figure out, what is the correct passport code.
Really cool idea, I'm guessing heavily inspired by Papers, Please. I like the art style too! I did fail to get through security but oh well :)
Very fun, although I couldn't figure out the correct code for the passport
Let you know about the Bugs:
When typing in the Notepad during Dialogues, pressing [Spacebar] is considered as "skip the dialogue line" input.
It was a little confusing... I understood that I needed to talk to people in the bar to get their documents, and I did get a few, but I'm not sure what the rules for forging are. I guess just pick one person's information to copy?
I really like the concept, but it's a very "all or nothing" sort of game. Like, besides obtaining the documents from people there aren't really "levels" per se, you either get everything correct or you don't (compare to, for instance, Papers Please, where the rules for checking passports and the complexity of people's forgeries increase as time goes on).
I really loved the visual style, some of the ID pictures were a little difficult to tell apart though lol
