This is such an ambitious prototype. The pitch is fun, and there are a lot of cute touches. I really appreciated how you replaced the corpses with skeletons off-camera.

I had a lot of issues with collision detection, but I understand that this is a proof-of-concept. You accomplished an INCREDIBLE amount of work during the jam!

I probably could have implemented that better, as it's lazy trickery right now. It just swaps the models on a delay rather than with culling.

The collision detection is garbage. This was my first attempt at a side-scrolling platformer so I have to do more work/research to get that to feel good.

Thanks for playing!

Nice application of theme! I had a lot of fun playing this one. The assets you used are gorgeous! You used the setting and theme very nicely; the set pieces were perfect.

Thanks! Yeah, SYNTY makes some incredible low-poly assets. I got a bit sidetracked just laying things out in the environment that had little to do with the gameplay!

Not bad! I love that you named the corpses of your journey to the treasure. The depth effects were really cool. I can confirm that there was, in fact, both Treasure and Bones. Keep at it!

I had a lot of fun with this! I liked how you had to sacrifice your guy in some places but then time seemed to pass and it was just bones :D Nice little feature!

Thanks! I was going to have a couple other traps/variations that required using the past lives as stepping stones to the end but I had to cut them for time.
