Nice idea, and good job for submitting. However I think it is missing a *lot* of polish and detail. I think you can work your way to a good game if you polish and improve the general feeling of the game.
The mechanic is pretty cool, and I liked the aesthetic and music - I wish there were more levels, and some small technical adjustments like using 9-slice for the platforms as they grow to make the corners clearer might help with judging jump distances
It works fine by installing the html build through the Itch app, btw. It's good while it lasts but we need more levels and for the mechanic to be fleshed out somewhat. Great start, though!
The music and sound effects are pretty cool. But as other have said the web build or itch page isn't sized properly. So unable to do much.
I had to hack the page to make the game playable (others said it on the itch page, but the dimensions of the game is too small)
It's a good foundation for a future game, there is something to do with this mechanic.
what did you do to hack it?
Hack is a big word ahah.
Right click, inspect, if you find the iframe you can change the width and height to see the full game
oke, thx!
