Despite the unpolished gameplay, the game was actually pretty good! It is hard to make games with a story / Lore and add many multiple scenes + cutscenes. But yeah, the art could have been made much better and glitches fixed. But this is understandable considering this is a game jam. Overall, great work!

Thanks for the feedback. I am not an artist and, as stated in jam, I have done everything from scratch since the start of the contest. For me, first of all, it was to test my ability to start and finish in a short period of time. This is my first jam and it's a wonderful experience.

Yes, no problem. Good work on game, and congrats for finishing the game on time. My first game made in pygame for a jam was also a very similar struggle so I can relate :D Hoping to see more participation from you in upcoming jams!

Hi! I played your game on stream on the Pygame Community Youtube channel. If you weren't in the stream, and wanted to check out my playthrough and opinions, there are timestamps in the description. Apologies for any audio cutting issues.

Hi. I am glad that my game caused a lot of positive emotions.

Entertaining story!

I really liked the charcaters voices (but when the boy talked about the radio call, my ears hurt), and the final was very exciting!

I discovered that if you go up in the submarine without stopping, you will leave the screen and no fish will be able to touch you. I also think the submarine's hitbox might be a little smaller.

Thanks for the feedback. I did it fast enough, so I didn't check some points. This is my first game jam. I left the option for the boat to disappear from the screen if the players have difficulty passing. I'm good at writing short stories, but I'm not very good at drawing yet.
