really nice idea with the game, i liked the theme, the screen seems to make the game very disorientating and maybe the game would have been better as a first person game(a bit like mirrors edge) also when the moveable block comes into play, it is not clear that it is interactable. finally, a way to identify roughly where the platforms were on the other timeline would have been helpful
Interesting game, I really liked the idea between changing between time, like pre-historic and futuristic ! I think if there was some sounds and or music and maybe a few more levels this would make a very interesting game! I think the checkpoints maybe should've been a bit closer to the jumping puzzles? But yea a great lot of fun :)
Really like the time changing mechanic. I struggled to jump onto some of the platforms at times, I think the jumping is a little broken but every time I switched, it felt like a new challenge and kept me interested in the game. Some sound could have also added to the experience.
Cool mechanics! I think the block pickup mechanic was introduced too late though. By the time I had to move the block I had forgotten that I could even do that. Sometimes you can move huge blocks as well which doesn't fit well with the size of your character. I liked the past/present transition effect but make it faster as it felt a bit clunky. Overall, it was pretty good!
Nice use of out of the box thinking! really like the hidden level design, always felt like my experience was unique. Great work! controls felt a bit sloppy and i felt like half of my falling off is because i cant see the edges properly, like the platform will blend into the background. i don't know how to do it but could you possibly add some black line on the out side of all the textures? like borderlands? thick and thin lines help add depth.
Great time changing mechanic! It Takes Two used something similar to great effect, so you're definitely onto something here! Unfortunately there was a jump across a pit I just could not make (not sure if it's a bug or I'm just bad or what, but I just couldn't seem to jump far enough). Apart from that, I liked this one! Changing time to solve platforming challenges is super fun, and I can see you touched on swapping from a new building to an old ruin, showing how time eventually wears everything away. Great job!
