Sadly I never managed to get a connection, would be cool to test a multiplayer entry. Cool idea to try something like that.
It was a little finicky to get the game to connect to the server, seems like pressing ctrl-c in the console makes it get unstuck and work?
Fun game, and very impressive that you got networking working during a jam.
This game uses a really cool! Although it’s a little too hard for me 😅
I really loved playing this game. The concept is genius! I only had the chance to play 1v1 and it was super fun but I'd love to try a team vs team game! Good job :)
The game didn’t work for me at all, both in Firefox and Edge. It just gets stuck at “Trying to join:carousel.gaminggarrison.com”.
Update: it works now! And it’s a pretty fun. The concept of manufacturing a near cataclysmic event just to generate more funding is hilarious :D I hope I get around to trying multiplayer.
I’m also curious, does the game get harder over time? Because it feels like I could keep going forever.
dunno why the game does not work for me
Best game of the game jam IMHO!
The game was quite fun. it takes a cool approach to the theme where you have to protect the planet and at the same time try and make money by having asteroids nearly hit the planet. Adding multiplayer to it makes it even more fun since you are now fighting with others to get the most money.
I like the idea of using money to shoot missiles and love the multiplayer aspect
Creating an online game for a week long jam is definitely ambitious, props for pulling it off!
it's interesting the mechanic where you have to pay for your missiles but here you can fire even if you don't have money...
i thought it was funny you can shoot the moon :D
