I haven’t played a game like this in a while. I must say, it was nice :)
Pretty fun once you figure out the range mechanic - I played through to the end. It's chill considering it's a wargame, but that makes sense for an artillery position.
Like the concept for the game a lot. It is fun as a kind of tower defense i really like how you can control where the cannon is aiming.
But it felt like there wasn't much of a challenge to the game. It feels like the troops are doing most of the work and you are just giving a small helping hand.
Quite well done! The music is very fitting and the keyboard controls are a nice touch!
It feels like a clicker game. I wasn’t blown away, but it was surprisingly chill and enjoyable! I’m just not sure if that’s what you were going for :P
I do wish there was more to do, either extra guns that you had to manage separately, or even go in on the one gun, but make it a bit more like a puzzle to aim.
I very much like the tactical layout. The game feels repetitive after completing 1-2 rounds. Bullets also often just fly through enemies.
I had this issue to. But i found out that is because they are not hitting. The bullets only hit at the max range you have set the cannon to and as a player to have to make it match with where you want to hit. But this was also something that took me quite some time to figure out.
