Okay, I want to like this one. It looks great, and I love the colors. I don't know if you meant for the one puzzle with the blocks to be able to be interacted with, but I feel like that would make it more fun. I was able to figure it out with context cues and just kind of tracking what I could figure out from what I could see. That puzzle would be fine if it can be rearranged as I was tempted to take it into an art program to manipulate it. I have an issue with the Morse code puzzle as it requires outside knowledge/resources, when I feel like the game should give you what you need to solve its puzzles. Finally, I could not sort out what the other puzzle was doing. It didn't look like a word unscramble and a cipher didn't work, so I'm lost without something to go on. It's a good start, and maybe what I've shared are just personal gripes or I'm missing something.
visually the game is beautiful, i love the art style. some of the puzzles felt a little tedious, others felt pretty satisfying to figure out. cool entry!
This one has a lot going for it. The visuals are gorgeous, the story development as you solve puzzles is great, I love puzzle games which dole out story as a reward for puzzling. I like that you have multiple control schemes (when I discovered accidentally that I could move with the mouse it was a nice surprise).
Some of the puzzles are a little obtuse, but some are quite clever and satisfying. The long maze sections to get between rooms can be a little tedious, especially with the character getting caught on corners, etc.
But overall I think it's a very creative entry and I like what you're doing with it!
I was able to clear the rooms below and to the right of the starting area, but have no idea what to do for the scrambled tiles one on the left, even though I revealed the phrase. Once I've cleared it, I'll give this game a rating.

I wasn't able to beat the game so far, but I wanted to keep my promise and review it before the jam ends.
Visually, your game looks good — it doesn't quite look like a Game Boy game, with the message boxes having a higher resolution than the rest of the game world, but the pixel art and environments look good and convey a decent amount of detail despite the low resolution. The lack of any sound is normally something I'd give 1 star for, but considering the game's focus on its environment and puzzle solving, a background music track would probably just be distracting, and the sound of your main character's footsteps works well for the game's needs. However, my main problem with the game is its difficulty curve — two of the puzzles in the first set are quite easy, but the one to the left of where you start is quite challenging, and stonewalled me until someone else got the solution. I also didn't like that you have to start the game over every time you open it — the title screen gives you the option to load a save, but you're never able to in the game itself.
