Looks definitely luxurious. The graphics are very cool. Only the combat is a bit unresponsive. But the main thing is that the logic of the roguelike game is observed. And is it important. There are coins, but it is not clear how they are connected with the theme "two sides of the same coin". I played for 40 minutes, and did not understand where the connection is manifested. But the game has potential in passing. It is interesting to know what's next and you want to pump your character, and this is an important criterion for a roguelike. But it's a pity that the enemies do not have a health bar.
Thanks for the feedback! I definitely want to explore making a better combat system at some point, dedicate a project to it or something. The theme tie-in was basically that the coins above each door represent two different potential rooms you could get by entering that door.
understood thanks
Normally I write down stuff that isn't working for me and suggestions on how I'd fix it, but there's not a lot of that here. Instead, here's some QoL features that could potentially be neat:
*Impact sound and/or effects when hitting enemies.
*Maybe an icon at the top of the HUD that shows you what the "coin flip" landed at.
Solid game, well done!
Awesome, thanks for the advice!
This was lots of fun, great game and certainly turned out awesome! I like the hammer weapon the most!
Thanks, I appreciate it!
I enjoyed trying your game. I can tell you put in effort, nicely done.
Thanks! Tried yours as well and I really like the turn-based combat and party-building.
