Yooo I love me some PvP button mashing. Nice and simple!

Maybe it needs a little more explanation! But I believe the idea is that you have to press space as fast as possible, causing you to be able to push the opponent out of the ring quicker. I really like that mechanic :). Maybe you can make some of the movement a little bit smoother though and make it more obvious that this is a Coop game, because I didn't know at first and had an opponent that wasn't doing anything hahha

This game seems pretty nice, but i do have a few points:

- I would like to see added is that the red beetle would move towards the player and pushes  a bit harder,  if the ai would be more challenging (or if there could be any enemy ai at all) I feel like the  mechanics would shine more.

- If space means that you push harder, wouldn't the winner of the game be always determined by the one who spams space the fastest. Doesn't seem really challenging to me how can you spice this up a bit.

So apparently it is a co - op game huh,  pretty cool. So forget the first point and focus on the second.

Thanks. I'm thinking of ways to add some more strategy, like an energy bar that depletes as you mash, and a mechanic to escape eachothers grip. I hope that will make it more challenging and make the matches last longer :)

I like the idea, however... winning doesn't feel like a real challenge yet since the game is pretty easy. At first I wasn't sure if it was a co-op game or you were playing against an AI, I would really try to focus on making the AI more livelike. I do like the sound that has been put in, it adds a lot more to the ambiance!

Developer

Hey,

It actually IS co-op! I updated the page with the controls for both players.

So there is no AI. That's why the enemy isn't lively, it doesn't do anything when it isn't being controlled :P

Fun concept, But movement is a little janky, sometimes going is is going down and vice versa. The AI can also move a bit more.
