Neat concept evolving the enemies. I would have loved a fast forward button in the beginning. Great job pulling this off in a week!

This one was fun, and i bet it was a LOT of work to put this together! Really unique how you had to choose how the enemies got strong too, I quite like that.

I did end up getting blocked later on by the enemy upgrade screen where neither of the buttons did anything so I had to quit.

Nice job!!

It's interesting that we couldn't evolve our own team, but the enemies, choosing in which way they become harder to defeat. Started out fun, too, though after a few days I no longer got evolution choices.

Some time later, I couldn't hire new mercenaries either - the money would be spent, but the mercenary would stay in the marketplace and didn't appear on the field.

Moving the characters is a bit finicky, it took me a while they would be put where the cursor is, not where their feet are. And once there were lots of units, it bugged out and it was hard to get a specific mercenary into a specific spot. I was practically unbeatable at that point though, since the enemies didn't get stronger anymore.

I like the concept though, would've loved to see more strategy and choices.

Thanks, I completely agree to you. The time wasn't enough to do all so I made some compromises.

Hey I saw a couple of person think we didn't Genies characters but we did😄 Just to clarify, all the mercenaries are actually Genies characters—we’ve just given them different outfits to match the theme. Since the rules say you can edit them as you like, we made these adjustments.

I played your game on stream if you'd like to see my thoughts:

The more you play a good game, the more it becomes interesting.

That was fun to play!! I couldn't figure out how to place tiles at first (I tried releasing items when they were over tiles, but then it clicked that the cursor had to be over the tile), but after that, I became unstoppable lol

I liked the evolving monsters, the horns were my favorite part. Oh, and wizards are the best!!

Thank you for your kind words! You are right about the controls they are  a little rough to use :'( My best unit is warrior !
