ohhh thank you, I just finished it and I enjoyed it quite a lot!

That was beatiful and sweet! I'm in love with the art, with level transitions, and, of course, the cats!

(1 edit)

I loved the art and the concept for the game is very funny!! It turned out absolutely charming!!

Thank you for your kind review!
Yeah, riddles can be very difficult when played in a foreign language!! I appreciate you playing the game!!

thank you so much!!!

omg that's funny :D thank you for your kind words!

yeah that'd be awesome! I love gamejams especially because of the community and the opportunity to work with different people, but this gamejam was spur-of-the-moment desicion so I went solo haha and same, I'm really curious to see the vid!

hey, I just wanted to say I was shocked by your most recent comment about my game — and I have a good reason why haha The thing is, I loved your game the most out of all the entries, and I swear I’m not saying it just to return the favour. The morphies just found the place in my heart, the dialogue was very witty and I found the game mechanic very unique

Thanks, I appreciate it!

thank you:)

thank you for playing it through and for your kind words!!

I feel very humbled by this comment, thank you :’)

Thank you, I had a blast watching your stream and thanks for offering useful commentary and advice

Thank you for your kind words. I wish I knew how to add more animations so I could add more variety to the avatar movement, but thanks to the community input now I know it for the future use :)

Thank you! I got really excited when I head the theme for the jam!

thank youuu!

thank you for playing and reviewing the game! Yeah, in the process of development I started realizing that some puzzles might be too convoluted so I scrambled to introduce hints.

thank you so so much!

Thank you so much for your kind words. As for the art - it actually IS sketchbook art, I drew all the cats by hand, scanned them and then colored them digitally haha so I’m glad you liked it

"So anyway, I started blasting"
Great camera work, the shake made it really satisfying to play. Got through all 9 ranks, with heavy focus on EXP gain.
Let's just say I had a blast ;D

That's amazing for your first game ever! I loved the 3d assets, and I think your use of avatars is my favourite out of all submissions

That was a fun short game! I don't know why, but it made me nostalgic haha

Really fun game, I liked the idea of evolving crops! The art is lovely, and the game is feels very polished for only a week's work

I LOVED the intro - it had this amazing retro game feel, the art and the music were really outstanding.

Fun game!

(I got 8 on the scoreboard!!)

Great job for your first ever gamejam! I liked the idea of stipping down body parts (floating eyeballs looked uncanny and I loved it)

Ohhh this game sucked me in for quite some time! I'm amazed that this is just a week's progress! The art is really nice, I loved the dialogue, very funny and sassy haha

Oh I decided not to press on quest log this time around just in case it was what was causing the issue, and it worked!!! yay! I'm playing your game right now!

Impressive work just for a week's time, the game feels very smooth. Special thanks for adding the "I'm stuck" button lol I had to use it once or twice

Hii I'd love to play your game, it seems really beautiful - however, my interact button is not working. Both on keyboard and gamepad. I was wondering maybe I was missing something or maybe there's a way that I can press some button to push me forward?

The mochi creature is very cute! And in general, I liked the art - both 3D and 2D. However, for some reason the grapes mini game didn't work for me? I tried restarting the game but it didn't solve the issue. But overall great job

I had a lot of fun playing this game!! :D the movement was so satisfying, and animals flopping on their backs was so cute as well!

Side note - THANK YOU for saving the progress between periods of time!!!

Great game overall.

ATTENTION TO FUTURE PLAYERS: sounds and music are set to silent by default. I thought during my first playthrough that there was no sound in the game, but there indeed is! And it is pretty good as well.

I love the pixel art, and bullet hell is a very fun concept as well. The green orbs were my downfall haha.

Ah I see! Yeah i'd be really fun to try and evolve other monsters. I will try it out next patch!

Yeaahh the balancing was nonexistent for the game haha I was worried about that point, but didn't have time to tweak anything. Thank you for the review!

thanks! I'll admit, I overexerted myself a bit during the jam week

I decided to play it through roblox so there are no animation and sound problems - nice take on the theme, a little walk down the history lane.
The only question I have is that I think I must have triggered the ending early? I hopped into another realm with peasants that didn't speak english, and after our conversation the ending text triggered.
Anyway, nice try, you even included social commentary, that's cool.

Windows version worked for me!

INFO for future players: Windows version worked for me!! :)

The game looks really beautiful, the graphics, the lighting, the UI - all stunning! I wish I could test it with another player in the mix

ahh I only managed to get one totem, but I tried!!

Thanks! Appreciate the review. Yeah, I didn't have time to playtest the difficulty of the riddles, so I had no clue how easy/hard some of them were going to be. This is why I decided to include an answer sheet in downloads lol
