If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
Back in the old days, there used to be 9999... in 1 cartridges flowing around. And they were dissapointing - often having the same game, but with different levels you had to load separately, or version with Luigi instead of Mario. I've done it.

How did you manage to make so many games in such a short period of time? I'm thoroughly impressed. All of the games within this offer a unique experience and I personally think you did yourself injustice by entering into a "So Bad It's Good" jam.
I liked this one! It was a very good SBIG entry, I felt. Even if there's not much to do once you've "seen the joke", but that's okay with a short jam like this! Well done!

One of my favourite games as a child I had was a "128-in-1" game I had for the GBA. There was actually some really good games in there, but a lot of duplicates. One I remember explicitly was a game called "Mario & Luigi", which was just a rehash of Nuts & Milk with Mario sprites.
As for this game, I couldn't verify that there was exactly 99999 games in there, as I gave up clicking after about 7000. The 8 or so variations that do exist are not exactly "fun" to play, since they're all the same gameplay wise, but it's fun to see what happens in the next one.
I want to give a special mention to the sound design, which is especially good. The short repetitive loops will make you crazy, but are very fitting for the game in question.
Given that this was the first entry completed, and that it was your first entry completed, I think you did a really good job on it. Thanks for taking part in the jam!
I like the concept, but there just isn't enough to this game. It's one joke, which is a pretty good one, but once that's worn off there's just nothing there. To me a "so bad it's good" game is one with depths- often unintentional depths- that you can come back to or at least engage you for a while.
This is just one game with different filters, and it's not a very exciting game. I think you've really only captured half of the multicart experience. There's an element of exploration and discovery with most cartridges, playing through all the weird shitty clone games to see if any of them are good, which ones are ripped off, and how many are actually on the cart. If you could have captured the feeling of excitement before the letdown I think this would have worked a lot better for me.
On a side note, I don't personally own any pirate multicarts but I do have a few sketchy famiclones with built-in games.
Yes! Good points. I felt the same way about this game, but it was the first project I've made in Unity, so I wanted just something to get my feet wet.
